The Bears have the worst defense in the league. Not sure the QB had much to do with that.

Illinois has two good running backs if not one that's real good but just a horrifically bad quarterback. That's not a recipe for success. Also the defense is really badly coached. I'm not sure it's a talent issue as much as scheme and assignments.

Their old regime restricted technology so you have to believe they are behind the times a bit.
