QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Sep 5, 2014 -> 12:08 AM) I'm pretty sure he drinks coffee straight out of the pot. He just eats the grounds. Dude is insane. One of the guys from Matta's tree that we always wanted as a successor. -
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 04:40 PM) They may have had notice. You never know. All it takes is for someone to call 311 to notify the city that the hole needs to be repaired. They keep records for every complaint/notification they receive. Ok. So if I have a lawyer friend for free would it make sense to at least test the water?

QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 08:16 AM) I started watching Friday Night Lights on Netflix. Can't stop watching it. I don't know why I didn't watch it when it was on, but now I can binge watch. Its unreal, ive watched it several times, such a great show.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 5, 2014 -> 12:06 AM) Ya what was that all about? Not that I'm a fan of her or anything but from what I saw she didn't do anything to get booed out of the building. Being all over Cody was why. And watching the feeds, I would have been pissed if I was her husband. Then again he's clearly gay.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Sep 5, 2014 -> 12:02 AM) Playing time is a non-issue for one of them coming, but even if both crazily decided to come, it still wouldn't be a huge issue. From what I know, Groce doesn't do negative recruiting. I think some coaches just simply won't do it. And, I think some recruits can be turned off by it. But yeah, recruiting is crazy. Agreed, and frankly I like the guys who are turned off. I really like Groce and he recruits a lot like Thad, except with WAY more energy. -
Not gonna lie, I LOVE Soler

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Sep 5, 2014 -> 12:00 AM) End zone was big enough, but you only had from here..................to here from the end zone to the back wall. #NUFAIL I remember watching that with ILL fans and they were in an uproar about injuries at first. It was the dumbest. -
Wow, the crowd killed Christine

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 11:57 PM) No doubt, one of the best parts about having a house is not having to lug on s*** and go down an elevator to let the dog out. It's not such a process anymore. No idea how you did it with a kid, especially with how often our elevator broke and I had to reset it. So much easier having a house, space and a little (ill sound old here) peace and quiet compared to what madison st is becoming

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 04:18 PM) Not really. The only true PG on Illinois' roster next year is Tate and both Evans and Brunson will be better than him from day 1. Cosby can play some PG but he really is more of a SG. Definitely Illinois pitch. Recruiting is crazy and the negative s*** out there is horrible lies most of the time. -
QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 11:52 PM) Yeah we're in Elmhurst now, bigger place, and yeah she has calmed down a lot. Not sure if it's just all the extra space or what but it's helped a ton. My dog still gets riled up when someone rings the doorbell, but overall she is so much happier in space and not having to go down an elevator to go out (I can let her out into our fenced yard). WE'll have to grab a beer down there sometime and catch up. Love Elmhurt, my wife used to work at Armands.

QUOTE (scs787 @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 09:54 PM) Did you? 5th: Complete the “heart” of the order; a good power hitter........ Conor Gillaspie doesn't appear to be a good power hitter. 2nd: Guy who can drop a bunt or draw a walk. Never seen Avi lay down a bunt, but he sure doesn't seem like a guy who will draw a walk that much. No thanks on Gillaspie to LF. I know it's done for defensive purposes, but I'd rather see Semien in LF and Gillaspie stay at 3B. With those guys and using that format the lineup should be... 1 Eaton 2 Semien 3 Martinez 4 Abreu 5 Garcia 6 Gillaspie 7 Ramirez 8 Johnson 9 Flowers Which would be a damn good lineup, esp. if Semien can translate his ability to take a walk to the bigs. Eaton, Semien, and Martinez would be on base a lot in front of Abreu. It would be hard to take a good hitter like Conor out of an MLB lineup. He has a spot but not in the heart. Second, the Sox are spending money. They hope to pick up probably one or two proven pen arms, and obviously someone in the rotation. Signing an actual middle of the order hitter will be more difficult. When they want to complete the payroll will be over 100 million IMO

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 09:01 PM) Now that she's a bit older she's gotten a lot better with it. We did some spraying, that worked for a bit, but the best thing we did was do the coins-in-an-empty-can-and-shake thing, that really slowed it down. You are going to a larger place right? My dog calmed down a lot when we moved to the burbs.

Loved my boy Linsley though. 4 of the 6 OSU draft picks are starting in the NFL. Pretty damn good hit rate. -

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 11:09 PM) Haha, I was referring to the attendance factor, I totally forgot about the whole too small end zone problem. Can only play one direction problem. Horrible mistake Looks like its a bidding war anyway so count out chicago -

Corey Linsley ran the no huddle in college. He will be the Packers starting center for years. -

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 08:35 PM) I'm sure it's too small but an OSU/ND game there would be one of the hottest tickets ever in Chicago. And I would stay a minimum 50 miles away from Wrigleyville. Soldier field almost makes too much sense. -

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 08:36 PM) ND has big alumni bases in both NY and TX, so those sites make perfect sense from that standpoint. I don't know as much about OSU, but I would think their alumni base would be more national than the typical state university, plus both teams would love to get up close and personal with those Texas HS recruits. OSU is either the largest or second largest school in the country and they travel well. It would be a huge game. Of course by then who knows what the college football world will look like. We scheduled this VT game in 2001 -

QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 04:44 PM) Ford Field or Lucas Oil. I meant I hate Yankees stadium and Cowboys Stadium. I understand from a ratings/recruiting standpoint but I'd rather see marquee games for the Big Ten stay in the midwest. -
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 04:33 PM) It's not money crazy when your wife has to deal with the cast/boot for the short term and additional arthritic pain for the long term (depending on how severe). It's not wrong to want to be compensated for having to put up with the annoyance (and pain and suffering) of having to go through all that. Having said that, you might not be able to sue anyway. I mean you can sue, but you might not be successful. It depends on if the City had notice of the hole before she fell. No notice, just a huge hole on the side of the road.

QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 04:29 PM) For OSU/ND? That would make zero sense. The other rumored one is Yankees stadium. It makes sense in that its a game that would bring ratings I guess. I hate both venues.
