At least those last two calls were legit.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 06:41 PM) Who else are the Bucs suppose to start? Glennon is a backup at best. The Bucs will probably draft a Qb in the first three rounds and McCown will bridge that gap. McCown is a back up at best, with no upside like a 24 year old. It's stupid. -

QUOTE (bmags @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 03:46 PM) That McCown deal isn't that crazy is it? QBs just make a ton of money. Unless you are Kaepernick or Wilson on your rookie deal, you are making some fine money. We'll he's apparently the starter so I think THATS crazy. -
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 04:57 PM) My buddy lives in Denver and apparently the middle class home market (200-300k) was going crazy recently. Homes for sale a year ago were getting 4-5 offers, all above asking price. Not sure if it's leveled off at all, but he and his wife were pretty pissed about missing out on deals. You can get a nice place along the light rail for that price range at times. It has been a sellers market for awhile though.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 04:43 PM) Isn't the cost of living there pretty high now too? Better than here thats for sure. There is a lot of housing going up downtown that is not overpriced. Some of their burbs can be pricey and Boulder is really expensive.

Same people different challenge. Cara was an excellent shape when I saw her training with crossfit.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 01:59 PM) @RapSheet: The #Bucs deal for Josh McCown: It’s two years for $10M. He gets $4.75M this year, $5.25M next year. WTF? Wow. Good for him. -
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 01:47 PM) That's a major reason for not moving now, for us as well. Not just that we have careers and need to educate our kids in good schools, but both our sets of parents are in the Chicago area, along with other relatives, so leaving would be really hard for all involved. Move to Denver. Its 300 days of sun, the city has become very habitable and progressive and the burbs are great. I fully recommend it.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 01:42 PM) He's not going to be very good in TB. The system and weapons he had made him the QB he was last year. He'll be back to a 70-80 rating QB with the Bucs. He capitalized with a QB guru and unreal offensive weapons. He got his. -
QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 01:16 PM) Rock, any idea how this roster takes shape? As currently constructed it seems like Keppinger, Catcher, PK, and either Garcia/Danks for bench. Who won't be around in your opinion? I think Garcia starts in RF everyday. To me, Semien is the best utility guy we could have on the bench. Danks isnt an MLB player in my eyes.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 12:32 PM) If the thing he takes from that "more competent group" is "be just the tiniest bit more patient and force the pitcher to try to get you out in the zone", you'll be right. I'd say his season last year was pretty much right what you'd expect given his approach. Look at the production last year, Konerko had his worst OPS in his career. It was contagious.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 12:11 PM) I will only promise this so long as you rub it in our faces when Viciedo s***s the bed again. I just think the team-wide slump last year exaggerated his struggles. With a possibly more competent group around him and hopefully a more positive attitude team-wide I suspect he will take a nice jump.

So far T25 has been a breath of fresh air after phase 1 of P90X3. I really wanted more cardio instead of weights and I definitely got it. You know you got a great workout when your legs are dripping sweat.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 10:48 AM) not even going to bother shoveling any of this Each shovel was supposed to be upwards of 15-20lbs. If do your driveway you can lift over 3,000 lbs. Pretty good cardio this morning.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 08:42 AM) They are going for it all this year. They probably figure Manning has only one, maybe two years left. Von Miller, Julius Thomas and Demaryius Thomas are all free gents after this year. They are going to land Ware as well. -
QUOTE (greg775 @ Mar 11, 2014 -> 11:31 PM) Has the horrific winter in Chicago made any of you make any life decisions? By that I mean ... a.) you have now decided that "someday" in the future you will retire somewhere outside of frigid/snowy Chicago or b.) you've decided to immediately, at this stage of your life, look for work in a warm weather climate (Cali, Texas, Nevada)? It just seems you've gotten snow after snow; arctic blast after arctic blast. Our winter sucked here as well. I do hate the cold and ice. This is literally the worst winter of my lifetime and it's almost over. No big deal. Chicago is the greatest.

The Bears are flat out making moves that make sense for a 3-4 defense. Shane McMuffin could be that pass rushing LB. -
Viciedo is a perfect fit on a team that is trying to rebuild and are banking on improvement from a just turned 25 year old. If you are in win now mode he is a luxury you cannot afford to play. The guy has this year to prove something.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Mar 11, 2014 -> 11:55 AM) It really depends on the atmosphere. Wrigleyville will be more rowdy. Wells/River North will be fancier (better food/tables etc). I personally dont mind Wells/River North areas during the day because they arent as crowded and you can get some nice food. I refuse to wait in line at night, so those areas are usually off limits. The problem of course is that youll likely have a hotel downtown, so it probably will make the most sense to go in the River North area. Or if youre feeling hipster you can go west of the highway and ironically watch the basketball games while you pay $6 for your ironically overpriced pbr. River North is tourist hell. I hate it. Old town is ok and pretty close to the hotel center. Obviously I am partial to the west side. I really also enjoy division/Damen.
