QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 5, 2014 -> 09:26 AM) Oh, and don't forget that BRANDON BOLLIG is going to cost $1.25 million next year. smh. Oh you dont agree with overpaying probably the most replaceable guy on the roster? Great moves and head scratchers. Mgmt is weird sometimes.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 5, 2014 -> 09:19 AM) Apparently the Flyers and the Penguins are going bananas in a bidding war on Kesler. I can honestly not think of a player that would help the Hawks more over the next handful of seasons. He's what they've needed for awhile. Obviously, matching salaries would be tricky for a team up against the cap, but you cannot let the Penguins find a way to make this move. would there be a better 2nd line center on the market than Kesler? 2-way player, points and lethal at the dot. Such a great fit and instead we've spent our time extending a plug and trading for fringe D men.

If anything this was one of the years to be competitive in conference since overall it was a bit down at the top. -
QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Mar 4, 2014 -> 05:11 PM) I totally fell in love with Phoenix. Next time go back in July.
-
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 5, 2014 -> 07:29 AM) it 100 percent started out as a grudge, which is a shame. I have a feeling the whistleblower will be outed. Not that surprising. Lots of dirty politics. At least Cliff can start making the real money

Lol. Rozy gets popped a few times and then he cracks the ref.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 4, 2014 -> 04:47 PM) Jay Zawaski @JayZawaski670 24s Hawks give up 2014 2nd rounder for Rundblad. Meh. And Brisebois.
-
Canucks board varies from Kesler wouldnt ever go to the blackhawks because he hates Chicago, to they will get Saad and Teuvo back.

QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Mar 4, 2014 -> 02:57 PM) Yes, I banked about 250,000 points last year on Southwest, and the Double Point promotion definitely helped a lot. Not sure how they are profiting from that promotion when they are essentially giving away a free round trip to some premier members every time they fly. It's also probably why they are not doing the same promotion again this year. I received a companion pass from them late year and already used a few times. But they only allow changing the pass holder 3 times a year, and the request to change process is such a pain in the ass. The only thing I dont like is that SWA kind of starts you over every year whereas some airlines used to keep your status a little longer.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 4, 2014 -> 02:56 PM) Between Kesler, Gaborik, & Vanek all being available, things could get interesting by tomorrow. The NHL trade deadline easily has the most action of the major sports. I want Kesler badly. Helps us in so many ways.
-
Kesler would be fantastic.

QUOTE (Reddy @ Mar 4, 2014 -> 11:44 AM) So you're against Dreya being in the vids? Shes a funny case in that she has improved quite a bit from program to program.

I actually routinely youtube success stories to keep me motivated because I see stories that I know are real and they really hit home with me. Soccer moms, overworked men, people who have just gotten lazy. Everyone has a chance to do SOMETHING to turn themselves around. I love it.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Mar 4, 2014 -> 10:32 AM) The person I'm talking about in specific is that Stephanie girl from Pilates/Yoga, she's just TOO perfect at every single move they perform. Well, a lot of them are in the test group or helped him build the routine. By your 90th day you will be a lot better. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Mar 4, 2014 -> 10:34 AM) Early on I had an easier time believing it, but now that Beachbody is like a massive corporation complete with a pyramid scheme, I think a lot of this has become manufactured. In the original P90X videos, people like Pam the Blam were what I considered "regular people", in decent shape, able to do the workouts (just like us), but not above and beyond -- such as the dancer/prancer people he also had on the original P90X, who's job is to basically be in shape. Check out the test group for 90x3. The Asian guy they have in a few of them was a fat tub O goo.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Mar 4, 2014 -> 10:15 AM) This is the part I don't buy. I think most of these people are manufactured pros, while a few of them may have done something incredible even they were afforded extraordinary means to do so. I could be in perfect shape too if I didn't have to worry about my job/family for 6 months. You can look a majority of them up. Unless they got fat for the show, I believe the transformation.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Mar 4, 2014 -> 06:56 AM) Until this year, I was A-List preferred. None of our trips are ever solidly scheduled more than a week or so in advance, so we are always getting Anytime tickets. Between the Anytime points, the A-List preferred bonus and some promotion they were running on top of it, I got something like 40,000 points for a round-trip flight to LA. You can usually book a one-way ticket to almost anywhere for 10k points or less. Also had the Companion pass last year, where a chosen person can fly with you for free on an unlimited number of flights. This includes flights booked with points, so flying to Pittsburgh, Ft. Lauderdale, Spokane and Reno-Tahoe cost me about 80k points total for both of us. I haven't paid for a personal flight in four years. Adding the credit card can double the points as well. I've really racked up a lot of free flights lately.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Mar 3, 2014 -> 01:40 PM) Some of them are fine, but others are just annoying to me. And there is only one Pam the Blam. I think for the most part they are pretty inspirational. Most if not all of the folks on the video were normal schlubs at one point and made themselves into people that are so fit it annoys you. Thats pretty incredible.
-
QUOTE (Y2HH @ Mar 3, 2014 -> 01:21 PM) Well for home fitness videos, I find them thoroughly annoying. Each on of those people has a pretty well documented transformation story. Its not like they got fat then fit to be in the videos.

QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 1, 2014 -> 06:14 PM) I don't think it's bad. It's competitive. Step below ACC. I'm kind of coming around. The difference is that some teams they face won't be used to the style. My boys will befuddle some teams. However if they run into hot shooting it's over. Tough brackets for sure. -

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 08:41 PM) Well, among the most followed conferences here, the B1G tourney should be damn good. On a personal note, the Big 12 tournament should also be the same, aside from the TCU game. s***s about to get real, finally. -
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 06:09 PM) Ryan Miller to the Blues. Huge pick up by the Hawks #1 competitor edit: Officially Halak, Stewart, Carrier and draft picks to Buffalo for Miller and Ott.

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 04:55 PM) So you're telling me there's a chance... But seriously, pretty crazy. That's awesome, though. When I turned 18, I pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I'm always going to be 5'9". It was very strange for sure. I was always wondering why i wasnt taller since my dad is 6'3".

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 05:32 PM) Agreed. They get to play in state title, which seems wrong. Are there details on why they are ineligible.
