  1. Jordan Danks is such a fringe MLB player. He will never be a regular nor a good sub on a championship team.
  2. QUOTE (almagest @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 03:02 PM) I grabbed the Dodgers feed from mlb.com. I don't pay for anything, and it's working fine. Its only kicking me to the payment plans.
  3. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 02:57 PM) The MLB.TV feed from Dodgers website is pristine Yes, but anything free?
  4. This is the worst video feed I think I've ever seen in my life. Ever.
  5. I just had a long argument with someone about Russell Wilson's arm vs Manziel. Such a waste of time.
  6. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 12:18 PM) I'm 25, so I'm hitting that point. So far, I've stayed about normal weight even though I was traveling for work almost every week the past 6 months (i.e. eat out for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, usually with a nice dinner - e.g. steak, seafood, etc). It helps that I always stayed close to a LA Fitness, so I was able to maintain my workout schedule. 20 is late growth spurt. That had to be a pleasant surprise. I grew almost another inch at about 25. Weird right? I was 5'10" or so going into college, about 6ft leaving and now I'm 6'1"
  7. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 12:00 PM) Can't argue with you there. Just felt like it was a good opportunity to take a shot at Rose for the thing that I dislike most about him. I hate his knee the most.
  8. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 11:58 AM) It's incredibly hard for me to put on weight too. I know it's a good problem to have, and I'll appreciate it as I get older. There was a time in college where I was eating 3 peanut butter sandwiches before bed and two bowls of oatmeal mid-afternoon (along with my normal meals/snacking). But it was hard to keep up, and while it somewhat worked, I still didn't add enough mass to make it worth it. I was the same way but then mid 20's ish hit and it got harder to stay thin and now its totally different. I was a bean pole until I was about 20 and then I grew 2 inches and became thicker.
  9. QUOTE (Reddy @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 11:50 AM) i actually disagree with you pretty vehemently. do genetics make it easier or harder? sure. are they surmountable? yes. and actually I do have a naturally muscular body, it's just that I also naturally burn 8,000,000 calories a day I think he is oversimplifying it quite a bit as well, and I do think supplements can play a role in changing your body.
  10. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 11:42 AM) Haha... you know what I meant. Yeah but I dont see Bennett recruiting anyone but his relatives at this point.
  11. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 09:26 AM) Profit sharing numbers were released today, always an annual reminder why you stay at this company Only until we steal you away
  12. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 07:15 PM) Doubt it happens, but you've got to love him trying. Wish more athletes would recruit (ahem, Derrick Rose). Well, do you really want Rose to recruit his brother?
  13. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 07:35 AM) If the total cost of the flight + overhead bin is the same as just the cost of the flight on other airlines, I would love this because I never use overhead bins. I only carry on a bag small enough to fit under my seat. The seats are smaller than other airlines with almost non existent immovable armrests. You also have to pay a fee if you want to select your seat. At 6'1" I simply do not fit in their planes. I flew them once and that's the end of ever doing it again.
  14. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 08:32 PM) It's not, it's just college kids having fun, lay off, everyone should rush the floor every game, if they don't it's ridiculous. It's become so commonplace that it's just beyond stupid at this point. Well here is what we hoped wouldn't happen http://mweb.cbssports.com/ncaab/eye-on-col...layers-and-fans Oh and thanks IU.
  15. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 08:15 PM) They are having fun. Lenzelol. I guess it's a sign of respect. I don't think we are very good. Nice call not getting the ball to the best offensive player in Ross. Next up id pick Thompson. Bad.
  16. And they rush the floor. Really? Are we that good in your mind?
  17. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 03:00 PM) I was actually thinking about switching Incinerator for 1 of those days. I do like that workout. The Warrior kind of burns my legs out. I workout in the morning then go ride my bike all day. My favorite P90 upper body routines are in the orig. Shoulders and arms was a great one.
  18. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 06:09 AM) The Ryan Air of America, be prepared to pay for everything. Hope he's under 5'9" because larger than that and you wont fit. I had a flight attendant tell me I didnt pay for the over head bin on the way back from Vegas on spirit (first and only time I flew it). I told her she can hold on to my bag then and wake me up when we land. She really didnt bother me after that.
  19. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 01:57 PM) Since I'm a cyclist and get enough cardio and leg work from that, I've been doing this lately. Challenge Yoga X3 Challenge Yoga X3 Eccentric Upper X Stretch (from p90x 1) My goal is to just be strong and flexible. I hate the agility work outs. They're tough on my knees and I have Robin Ventura ankle. I really love to do Yoga and the classic push up/pull up workouts. It keeps me motivated. Hopefully the a Yoga is enough core. What about the warrior and incinerator?
  20. QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 01:29 PM) Rock, did you ever try X2? From what you are saying about X3, I think you might have really enjoyed X2. Briefly but I mostly did classes at my gym which was functional fitness/cardio at the time. Now that I moved I am almost purely at home working out.
  21. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 11:19 AM) Check and check. I do squats on leg days. Haven't done deadlifts in about 2 years. Need to get back to doing that. I asked a bit of a vague question. Obviously, lots of lifts will incorporate the core while you're doing them, as long as you use good technique, etc. But I was thinking more along the lines of yoga-type stuff. More non-traditional exercises that I wouldn't already be doing. I just finished pilates and wow, thats a different type of core workout. The thing I like about X3 so far is the focus on muscle groups that I didnt usually hit before. Lots of hip flexibility and joint strengthening. Something I believe I need for injury prevention. I would recommend some of those for the muscle groups you may be ignoring. For me, back weakness at times could be general core and ab weakness being compensated by the back.
  22. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 08:36 AM) And???????? Her girlfriend was as hot as she was. Great couple, but no chance.
  23. QUOTE (Reddy @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 10:22 AM) nice job dude! did X3 yoga yesterday and it's a big of a joke. I mean it was good in the sense that I hadn't done yoga in a while, but I think that was far too many postures to fit into 30 minutes Isometrix is better IMO. I am dropping Yoga for heavy weight training and stretching those days.
