  1. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 8, 2013 -> 09:45 AM) Apple dumbs down products and then adds the hipster element for marketing. Good thing they dumbed down the touchscreen phone then. Otherwise we would still be using these:
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 8, 2013 -> 09:40 AM) As someone who broadcasts HS football covering the NW corner of the state, even the Penn's and Merrillville's of the world get their asses kicked in Indy. It is a whole other level down there. The rest of the state is no where near that. There's been some good talent out of Fort Wayne the last few years. Luckily for IU, Purdue and ND, Ohio is just a short recruiting drive to the east.
  3. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 5, 2013 -> 10:16 PM) We won via forfeit thurs because other team didnt have enough guys. Weak Last thursday most of the games were about to be rained out so we didnt get out of our cars. PSG gave us a forfeit. f***ers.
  4. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 8, 2013 -> 08:19 AM) Outside of some pretty good teams around Indy in HS, there is just no good football in Indiana at the HS level to even recruit from. It is a bad football state. It sounds stereotypical, but it is true... everything is about basketball. There is some good ball up north as well. The fans just dont care, the stadium was half full for their first ever victory vs PSU.

QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Oct 7, 2013 -> 06:12 PM) It's not pressed into pills. Pure MDMA won't press into pills. It's actually pretty mild. Ecstasy is more of a smorgasbord of drugs, like a drug cocktail. In theory. What makes it out there is still a mix. Just like cocaine.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 7, 2013 -> 05:40 PM) Thats my feeling on the subject. These kids are young though, most 14 year olds just cant handle that type of weight on their brain. I personally wouldnt know. I dont mess with chemistry, Ill barely mess with horticulture. I messed with that stuff back in college, to me it was a little too altering, same with acid. I like to have some control over myself. The long term effects and the horrid depression are really big downsides.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 7, 2013 -> 05:04 PM) Miley slightly NSFW. Who cares how long her hair is? Wow, so there's her vagina.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 7, 2013 -> 04:47 PM) Ultimately that is the real problem with this stuff. You cant look at it and have any idea what you are getting. Any pill could easily have PCP or worse. Im pretty confident that a lot of pills are cut with crystal meth. Molly is just rebranded ecstasy. There is no "pure" mdma.
  9. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 7, 2013 -> 03:39 PM) They definitely gave #1 OSU a scare in '02 & '06. I was at the 2002 game and it still kills me, they were so close to winning. But for some reason they can only seal the deal at the Horseshoe. That was literally every game that year for OSU. Needed an absolute miracle against Purdue as well.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 7, 2013 -> 03:26 PM) I guess she put the Today show host in his place this morning. I'm starting to like Miley a bit. I do think she may be smarter than I used to give her credit for. She does seem to love drugs, though. That could be a slippery slope for her if she starts to abuse it badly like Lo-hag. At least she said she hates cocaine, thats usually their downfall.
  11. QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Oct 7, 2013 -> 02:47 PM) Several of those games were pretty close and decided late; only 1 or 2 blowouts if I recall. For some reason, OSU v. Ill games tend to run closer than you'd expect. Don't see it this year, though. its been that way back to the 60's. Late year games in champaign tend to be windy and unpredictable.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 7, 2013 -> 02:29 PM) She isn't the devil, she is a damned smart entertainer. 2 top 10 hits and everyone is talking about her. It's the madonna template.
  13. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 7, 2013 -> 02:09 PM) As I alluded to earlier, sometimes these are the toughest to end too because you don't view "different places" as a legitimate reason to end a relationship because everything else feels and seems fine. In reality, you will need the separation and, as time moves on, you come to realize how much better off you actually are seeking someone else with similar goals, timelines, and interests. Yep, instead of forcing a round peg into a square hole because of comfort with that person.
  14. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Oct 7, 2013 -> 08:18 AM) Bitter ND fan? Don't lose at home to Boston College and that doesn't happen. It's been that way in college football forever. FSU beat 5 or 6 ranked teams, including Florida (#6?), Miami (#3) and Nebraska (#2) in the Orange Bowl. Yeah I dont remember it being that controversial.
  15. Sign 2 A's man, we know hes doing nothing.
  16. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 7, 2013 -> 11:39 AM) Yeah she's acting like a young woman for sure. It sucks because of the time invested and she'll probably try to make you feel guilty for pulling the trigger and breaking it off. Like most people are saying, it'll be the best for the both of you. This may not be the best thing to say but you're young and women come to their senses around that 30 range anyway. The need for attention etc is a hallmark of a young woman who isnt ready for what you want.
  17. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 7, 2013 -> 10:47 AM) Sounds like you want different things. It happens. Time to move on. Yup. Her wanting to go to a casting call for a reality show should have been a red flag as well IMO.
  18. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 6, 2013 -> 09:02 AM) THIS IS THE END was fine to me. Not the great comedy most people seem to make it out to be and it's about 20 minutes too long. I think its downright hilarious and one of the best comedies in awhile. There are so many subtle jokes that maybe you should watch it a few times.
  19. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 7, 2013 -> 10:21 AM) I was just referring to their upcoming schedule. If Holtz actually meant the entire season, then he's as dumb as he sounds. Michigan is still probably the toughest since its the Game. Also OSU sucks donkey balls @ILL.
  20. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 7, 2013 -> 09:48 AM) Look at OSU's schedule though. Other than Michigan, I'd say Holtz is right. They play Iowa, Penn State, @ Purdue, @ Illinois, Indiana, @ Michigan. No offense to an improving IU but Wisconsin at night back to back with @NW on primetime was the toughest stretch. Two ranked teams in primetime back to back.

  22. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Oct 6, 2013 -> 01:40 AM) you guys on xbox or ps3? ps3
  23. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 6, 2013 -> 01:16 AM) Tell me about it. My friends are lame and don't want to do the missions, they just want to run around killing random human players. I've been sitting here trying to do these Gerald missions to make money, and I can't get a single person to join. These kids last night had me up all night running missions then bailing or going crazy or just being terrible. Online gaming when it was only your friends was so much better. s***, WoW had at least SOME honest people.
  24. 300 million dollars changed hands with that fumble/TD at the end of the OSU/NW game. WOW.
  25. GTA is awesome, but partnering with random kids sucks balls
