2012-2013 NCAA Basketball thread

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 5, 2012 -> 11:43 AM) Yeah but they werent following the players around to parties and at night (which is what I was imagining.) If its just nonsense like that who cares. It appears to be all access on the program not the player's social lives from what I gather which is just like the 7 part series Ohio State just did. It showed a tiny bit on the players themselves but focused alot on the program and the coaches which makes alot of sense since Coach Cal is an ego maniac. -
I havent played a single game on my iphone since I've had it. I know multiple other people do, but I've never had the desire. Weird. I'd rather read news and message boards.

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 5, 2012 -> 11:38 AM) And the Journey doesn't favor one school or another. It spreads the wealth so to speak. And I'd mostly have a problem with it because its Kentucky and Calipari. This has been done on ESPN with multiple other schools before. I dont understand the outrage. -

QUOTE (He_Gawn @ Oct 5, 2012 -> 11:36 AM) I think this is a whole other animal. The bigten network isn't a HUGE network like ESPN. It also shows all of the teams in the conference. This is going to be a TV show, on a national network available to everyone, about one team. Duke, oklahoma, Bama, OSU have all had more than 5 episodes of a reality show on ESPN. -

QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 4, 2012 -> 01:34 PM) Mizzou star Frosh Dorian Green-Beckham arrested for marijuana possession last night, suspended for Vanderbilt game. Welcome to the SEC? Really not a surprise. Either was the brand new navigator he was driving. -

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 5, 2012 -> 11:35 AM) Well if its just going to be a replication of what the Big 10 is doing with the journey its no big deal. But if its going to be Kentucky meets Jersey Shore (what I was imagining) then you really dont want to be taping that. Ohio State had a training days special this offseason on ESPN. Multiple episodes and a hour long finale. -

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 5, 2012 -> 11:32 AM) I would have a problem if the NCAA allowed that. LOL, seriously? Its been going on in football for years and in the Big Ten for bball as well (thought its all teams). Nothing wrong with it whatsoever other than the fact not every program would be open to it. -

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 2, 2012 -> 12:35 PM) That Alabama fan that teabagged the passed out LSU fan after the BCS Champ. game? Two years in prison. Wow, thats ridiculous, honestly. Waste of tax payers money. Let him tea bag the guy back and have it done with. -
QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 1, 2012 -> 10:36 PM) Try behind the neck bluetooth headphones. I got one from Motorola two years ago. Great for working out and hands-free calling (not in a car obviously). Will also work splendidly on your computer if your bluetooth adapter isn't crappy. Reviews say not so good for working on because sweat shorts them out.

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Sep 30, 2012 -> 07:12 PM) None Less than 0. He burned alot of bridges with his insistance on going to Miami. MY source on 35th couldnt put enough LOL's in the text back to me when I mentioned this "info"

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 1, 2012 -> 03:56 PM) I use these when I travel and cut the grass: http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-MK-II-Pre...d/dp/B001EZYMF4 They're not active noise-cancelling headphones, but they fit in your ear canal and function as ear plugs so they still cut down on a lot of ambient noise. The only thing they're missing imo is an in-line volume control. Thats my only issue is I cant stand the ones that are like plugs, so I got the on-ear beats on a whim. They are ok, good enough, and dont noise cancel either.

LOL to this "information" come on man.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Oct 1, 2012 -> 11:26 AM) I will say this, though it sounds like an audiophile: Beats headphones are amazing. The problem is mine broke, so the store gave me a full refund, but I'm going to give them one more shot. I got the beats headphones when I was bored at an airport. They are literally only worth anything when I am on an airplane.

No offense to those pros, but those were pretty straight putts, thats what makes you a pro.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Oct 1, 2012 -> 09:54 AM) Hahaha, high speed HDMI cables. That's awesome. I haven't seen that yet. I like how they wrap them in extra thick rubber so that they look so official and heavy. Good luck with that 100 dollar cable bro, mine was 1.10.

QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 29, 2012 -> 05:21 PM) He's ok Really looked bad and probably was a 10 point swing since we were driving but still got the W on the road. Shut down Bell and ran all over the "best" defense in the conference. -

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Sep 28, 2012 -> 03:44 PM) How about gun safety classes so they actually hit the other gang bangers they are aiming at instead of some 6 year old kid sleeping 5 houses away from their target. (Make that line half-green in color) They did find out that a large percentage of guns found involved in crimes that police have taken were from one gun shop in the area.

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Sep 28, 2012 -> 02:26 PM) Really hate that I can't watch this today. My buddy is there and said Bubba's tee shot was wild when he pumped up the crowd and everyone was going crazy as he hit it. Bubba is the man. happy gilmore-esqe

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Sep 28, 2012 -> 01:21 PM) There's one way to do that--not play him. Yet they are playing him twice today. He can still hit his irons, but he loves that high cut with his driver and I f***ing hate it especially with the wind. He cant control the damn thing.
