QUOTE (BurlyMan56 @ Nov 29, 2009 -> 10:18 PM) http://www.dlisted.com/node/35019 Courtesty of www.dlisted.com Apparently, Grady wants opposing baseball fans to make fun of him every at-bat. He took these pictures for his former playmate girlfriend. No, I was not looking for these, I stumbled upon and find it hilarious. Thank me later guys. I assume its that girl taped to his mirror?

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Nov 30, 2009 -> 01:03 PM) Iowa/PSU are going to the Orange Bowl. I believe that is the first bowl that will be picking this year and they want one of the Big 10 schools. I still dont believe that PSU can get selected over a team that beat them. Iowa deserves a BCS bid IMO. PSU wasnt impressive against ranked teams. -

QUOTE (JuiceCruz16 @ Nov 30, 2009 -> 01:13 PM) Maybe, finally the year for the big 11 to beat the ACC. Even with a Purdue & Mich. St. win tonight over perenial ACC upper echelon teams like Wake and UNC, which I think should happen. I'm going to predict ACC 6 Big 11 5 I think the ACC smokes the Big 10. 8-3. The Big Ten hasnt looked great thus far this year. Next year may be better, but I think they are not quite there yet. -

QUOTE (T R U @ Nov 29, 2009 -> 09:32 PM) Speaking of this.. Does anyone else not feel sorry for Michael Oher at all? I hear so many people saying Blind Side was so great and they cried or whatever.. dude was a first round pick, is in the NFL, and is a millionaire.. I don't really feel sorry that he never had a bed of his own as a kid.. He doesnt want you to feel sorry for him either. He wants zero attention. with that said, the book is fantastic. -

QUOTE (zenryan @ Nov 29, 2009 -> 10:51 PM) It'll be a tough game for FSU but I dont think it'll be a blowout. It's not like the Big 10 is playing as good as everyone thought they would. I'm starting to think the ACC has a decent shot at winning the challenge again this year. Ohio State is a very poorly coached team with one superstar player, they are very beatable. -
Dumb, dumb dumb dumb.

The Texans are quickly becoming one of my favorite teams. Andre Johnson is such an awesome player in every facet of the game and Schaub is nails. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 29, 2009 -> 12:56 AM) Is that true? I've seen all sorts of rumors today. Heard it from supposedly the source. Claussen was remarking how Golden had misrun a bunch of routes and his brother clocked Jimmy. -

QUOTE (kev211 @ Nov 28, 2009 -> 10:55 PM) 6 losses for Notre Dame, all 6 of them came down the to the final minute. It's sad knowing that Jimmy and Golden are probably gone after seeing the show they put on tonight. Thanks D for being absolutely awful all season. Not sad for them since it was Golden's brother that punched Jimmy in the eye. -

QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Nov 28, 2009 -> 01:54 PM) Agreed. And if I'm the Irish, I stay the hell away from Brian Kelly. I haven't watched Cincy at all this year before yesterday, but I know ND needs to significantly improve on Defense, and based on what the Illini did, that ain't his thing. I respect the turnarounds Kelly has accomplished in his career and with that program specifically, but he reminds me of this year's Rich Rodriguez (who's team a bad Illinois squad also lit up this year)-- a guy who puts up gaudy offensive numbers with a high-powered, spread offense in a weak-ass Big East. Cincy literally doesnt play defense. -

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Nov 27, 2009 -> 02:12 PM) This officiating in the Illinois-Cincy game has been pretty bad. And go Auburn! I'd love to see Bama go down! I think Illinois could have made it much closer and had a chance to win if they werent completely buried by the refs. -

QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Nov 24, 2009 -> 06:53 PM) How many season tickets is this line up going to sell? I wouldn't even be sure that this would win the AL Central... and I KNOW it wouldn't win the World Series. What is there to fear in this line up? CC Sabathia or Josh Beckett would be salivating against this. 1.PODS 2.Iguchi 3. Everett 4. Konerko 5. Dye 6. AJP 7. Crede 8. Rowand 9. Uribe Not even sure if that was the lineup, but I'm sure it didnt scare many people either.

QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Nov 24, 2009 -> 09:27 PM) Zoom, looks like Varez Ward just had a major injury in warm-ups for Texas. So Avery Bradley could be getting more minutes. Tough blow for Varez. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/teams/stats?teamId=251 They showed when it happened, looked terrible. -

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Nov 24, 2009 -> 01:46 PM) It wasn't a sucker punch apparently. ND is trying to spin the story. http://www.southbendtribune.com/article/20...979/1001/Sports Either way, its a good thing he didnt end up like Tyler Moeller where his season and possibly career was ruined. I understand Clausen has a rep for talkin alot of s***, but NOBODY should attack a player because they are a player. -
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 24, 2009 -> 03:36 PM) It may not be the best lineup ever...but if everyone puts up sort of their average numbers... Crisp Becks Q Konerko Matsui AJP Rios Teahen Ramirez

QUOTE (YASNY @ Nov 24, 2009 -> 03:18 PM) Your opinion is always respected around here, or at least it should be ... but if the man can get healthy he is hardly over the hill at 30. If fact, he should be in the heart of his prime. Age is just a number Yas His OPS peaked in 05 IIRC, but he SHOULD have something left. The one thing that has still be decent however is that his OBP has stayed fairly ok, and his walk/rate is pretty consistent. What I have always really liked about him is that he was a tough #2 hitter back with cle. He has an .812 OPS in the 2-hole and was a doubles machine.
-
Crisp has been a decent #2 hitter in his career. But I think he's a little past his effectiveness.
