  1. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ May 9, 2005 -> 03:46 PM) It would be different if he was completely over the hill, but he had an 1.100 OPS at the end of May last year. Seriously though, with your track record, NOBODY takes your baseball thoughts seriously anyway. if u take nothing i say seriously dont respond to me buddy
  2. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ May 9, 2005 -> 03:26 PM) First off, with all the hate you have for Frank, take off that 35. Secondly, Frank has proved himself over his career which started way earlier than Carl. Carl has just proved himself the past couple of years. Even in Frank's bad years, his OBP has been high which small ball is geared too(baserunners). Frank needs to be out there. I rather just bench PK because aside from HR's, he hasn't done anything. I'm willing to give him up until Frank comes back which at earliest should be June. I'm confident Ozzie will play whoever's hot. he May be alright at first i actully might want to see him play there Konerko is sucking he is in a bad slump maybe he will be good there i would like to just check him out there at first just for like a game or so just to see if he can do it and if he can leave him there i am cool with that
  3. we dont need Frank I rather have Carl in there hes proved himself to me. Frank i think is getting old and washed up and is pritty negative towards the team. when he is playing. I think if he comes back for a couple of game we are going to start losing and ozzy is going to get pissed take him out and then we will start our winning streak again.
  4. QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ May 9, 2005 -> 02:56 PM) I say other....use him and Carl at DH...Frank vs. Lefties...Carl vs. Righties... not a bad idea
  5. I say we try to get rid of him we are playing great ball and i do not want to move Carl. He is playing great ball. Nor put Paul in as DH
  6. QUOTE(YASNY @ May 8, 2005 -> 06:08 PM) Ozzie says he goes with his gut instinct, but he usually has a pretty damn good reason behind that gut instinct. I agree they both can pitch in the 9th and Ozzy does have a good idea of who to put in most of the time. I think it all depends on who they are playing and who is going to be up in the 9th they both throw really diffrent stuff like them both very much but if i had to pick one in the 9th most of the time i got Marte

    i hate this ESPN crap they talk so much s*** about the Whitesox Quote by espn writer Rob Neyer "White Sox living charmed lifeBy Rob Neyer ESPN Insider Archive Here's why I don't believe the White Sox are the best team in the American League Central: Their pitchers obviously can't keep pitching as well as they have. Here's why I do believe the White Sox are the best team in the American League Central: Their hitters obviously can't keep hitting as terribly as they have. I haven't gone searching, but I suspect that with a few seconds of "work" I could find an editorial or three praising Ozzie Guillen for his self-described "smart ball" (which Guillen prefers to the term "small ball"). Indeed, the White Sox are tied for the league lead in stolen bases, sacrifice bunts and sacrifice flies. That's smart."
