Mike Sweeney still scares me when we face him. The guy may have a lot of back problems but when he is healthy and in the game the guy is a beast.

With all due respect to Rivera, and to a point Gagne, Joe Nathan may be the most dominant closer going right now.

Mike Sweeney just PLOWED the Twins cathcer Redmond to put the Royals up 9-8 in the Top of the 9th. The Twins are getting a taste of their own medicine. Joe Crede was prepared to run over Mauer and now Sweeney of the Royals plowed Redmond.

Wow...Redmond just got laid out on a play at home. Don't wanna see him get hurt, but when you block teh plate, such things happen. Left the game looking all kinds of disoriented.

and now the amazing Corky Miller has come in to replace him :puke ..... I wish Torri Hunter played catcher for an inning.

It was Mike Redmond, not Mauer.

Ah good...well not good, but I wasn't sure who it was. Saw Miller coming in to repalce him and assumed it was Mauer. title fixed!

And unlike Hunter, Sweeney showed genuine concern when Redmond didn't get up.
