You make some valid points, but one would expect that the GM along with his professional scouts would be better at evaluating players and making decisions than some fans on an internet fan forum. Also, there's not much of an excuse for them not even attempting to fill obvious holes in RF and 2B with top talent during what they said was their "window." And then there's the whole LaRussa hiring. Bottom line is this organization sucks and they are the ones responsible for the moves they make, not the fans on Soxtalk.

That's terrible. People talk about JR's "loyalty" but it's more nepotism and favoritism with him than loyalty.

At least winning seemed to matter to KW and he was never content while his team was losing. He seemed to care as much as the fans while Hahn and especially JR don't seem to have winning as their top priority.

I agree. Vaughn at 1B and Eloy at DH. Legit MLB OFers flanking Robert and Legit MLB infielders flanking Tim. And get a good catcher too.

Not so sure about Eloy but I guess since you can't get anything of value for him anymore might as well just roll with him as full time DH. If he doesn't like it, tough.

I would put Vaughn at 1B everyday and let Abreu DH. I would let Eloy just play LF everyday for the rest of this season and if he gets hurt again then it's back to Pollock unless they acquire someone in a trade. Next year Eloy can have the DH spot all to himself.

Harper should have been the primary target.
