  1. More likely soreness after squats or cleans. Hopefully, not a meniscal issue.
  2. Yep. Next year the process starts to change as they should have a winning team if the plan goes well. If they are competing for a playoff spot at the end of July, he could come up.

Most programs allow this. Some restrict courses like anatomy to a 4 year university. If you're serious about it go to www.ptcas.org. It's where the application is completed through an external service. It will list all of the programs and the specifics about the prereqs for individual schools.
  4. The twins pitcher was suspended for a masking agent that is a diuretic as well. But the others this year were all for various things like steroids and growth hormone derivatives. They can try the masking agents but it doesnt really make a difference be cause of the testing. They find the abnormal levels then test for the substance. Sometimes the only thing they find is a masking agent. In the Olympic setting you'll see some of the suspensions listed as abnormal hormone levels. Once they find the abnormal then they see if they can find a substance. They can't always pinpoint it but they dont need to with this system. I'm not saying its impossible just very difficult especially at the levels to produce huge gains. There are no more Bonds with an increased head size or Ben Johnson with yellow eyes.
  5. Chicken or the egg. As I said it's some of both a different ball and the players not caring about strikeouts and upper cut swinging on every pitch. I think the latter is more of the reason though.
  6. I dont think you understand the concept of blood testing. Previous tests needed to look for specific drugs. This is why the chemists had the advantage. They could create drugs never seen before thus they couldn't test for them. With the current blood tests they have a baseline hormone level. If that level goes up for any reason, it's a positive test. They do not need to look for specific drugs any longer.
  7. This is undoubtedly true. However, it's very difficult to get away with it now to have a similar effect that it did in previous years before the blood testing was instituted.
  8. The blood test catch the cycling much easier because it stays in the blood much longer, so the cycling would need to be so spread out that it really wouldn't be very effective.
  9. They can't mask the hormone levels with the blood tests very easily. What you are referring to is the substances to mask the Testosterone/Epitestosterone ratio. Current blood test skip that and test the actual levels. SARMS are similar to the old androsenedione where it can help a little with strength gains but nothing really significant. They just make the androgen receptors more sensitive and able to increase the receptor capability. These will not increase strength all that much and won't change the actual hormone level all that much.
  10. if the the leather makes it either easier or more difficult yo grip the ball, that is a much greater effect than the aerodynamics. I don't think they have a better understanding of pitch movement, it's just that with newer equipment it can be quantified in much more detail. We've always know that a "tighter spin" on the ball will have a truer path. Now with technology they can measure the spin and get the most out of it. How would you explain the greater performance in strikeouts and greater performance in homeruns if both are true for the ball? Either the pitchers can use the ball more efficiently, thus more strikeouts or they can't use it as well and there is more HRs.
  11. Oops. I have no idea how it auto corrected that way. If he did, he's doing it wrong.

Most have business degrees so it took them a couple of years as part time students to complete the prereqs. There really isn't a degree that gets all if them. The older students usually take them individually and do not get an additional degree.
  14. This is much less true than ever before. With the new blood testing they no longer need to test for specific drugs. They test for the level of of the hormones in the blood. It no longer matters why its increased. In the past they used urine samples to test for specific drugs. The new way to use steroids is by microdosing. They take little amounts at irregular intervals to get a boost, like they used to use amphetamines. This way it does raise the hormone level but they can get a boost. It doesnt in Cease the strength as much as decrease mental and physical fatigue for certain games.
  15. Pitchers complain about the laces changing every time homeruns go up. If it's just the laces and pitchers can't get it to move like they want, why are pitchers getting more strikeouts than ever before as well?
  16. Like all things, it's probably some of both. I don't think I've seen such upper cut swings ever in history. Of course there will be more home runs if everyone swings like that. Not coincidentally strikeouts are up as well.

Some have had kids but it's tough. You are in class from 8 or 9 to 4 daily and then studying in the evenings. Its 3 years long. The prereqs do include biology, chemistry, anatomy, physics, psychology and stats. You are guaranteed a job and it pays pretty well.

I've had people in their 30's, 40's and 50's come into our physical therapy program for second careers.
  19. True and this could be the chance to get a new franchise QB in a deep QB draft, if they had a 1st round pick. Plus there's talk of the Dolphins looking to Lawrence in 2021 and not taking a QB next which pushes more QBs lower in the first round.
  20. He pitched 124 innings last year. 125 this year. They want to build up the innings so he will finish the year in the rotation and hopefully get near 150.
  21. There is every reason to shut him down. He would miss at least one start probably 2 for the muscle to heal. That leaves possibly one start left. Why bother?
  22. They already said he is having surgery this week. He wouldn't be having surgery if he wasn't planning on returning.
  23. There's no reason Ben shouldn't be back unless he doesn't want to go through the rehab. It sounds like they are doing the surgery very soon though.
  24. Maybe they should have saved that 1st round pick for a QB.
  25. In this scenario, I would say the problem is with nagy. So far he has said that the special team coach told him not to kick a field goal and the low number of carries was because trubiskey checked out of runs and that he didn't say anything to him about not talking to the press. He is getting good at passing the blame.
