Iguchi has been everything I'd hoped he'd be when the speculation about us signing him first broke. He fit into our lineup like a hand into a glove.

Jose Contreras is better than a lot of guys who could be acquired as a number 4 starter. I can live with him holding down that spot.

I'd estimate that I sent in about 150 legimate votes for Scott.

Gammons reported tonight that the Sox are pushing to acquire Everyday Eddie Guardado.

Scott was on ESPN Radio's Gamenight tonight. It was a good interview. He said that he's honored to even be considered after spending 9 years in the minors. If he is elected, his parents will get his game tickets. Said he'd love to look up and see his parents during pregame intros. He also talked about the great clubhouse atmoshpere and gave props to the pitching staff for carrying the team.

As I read these game threads, you always get the same negative BS from the same negative posters. Thirty games over and these "Sox fans" still b**** and moan and direct inappropriate vulgarities or slander at our players. Disf***inggusting.
