Hey. Don't forget about all those Lakes in L.A.
Actually, there used to be bears in the area. But according to legend, Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone cleaned them all out.
Hi Tyler. Welcome to Soxdom.
What is your realistic timetable for making it to the majors?
Do you see yourself as a future starter, setup, closer, or whatever?
How well do you consistently "hit your spots"?
That Calderon jersey is pretty cool. But didn't that jersey go with the cap with the pig's tail "C" on it? I hated those caps. I always been glad the went back to the current SOX logo.
If we can't come up with a #2 type pitcher, Rusch would fill in nicely as a number 5. I'd like to set my sights a little higher, but that's not always possible.
You have a point about the strikeouts, which I did consider before posting that. However, I feel it is more imperative for us to have somneone break up all those righties. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
Believe me, I understand where you are coming from. I just think that in the long run, Joey B will be more of an impact player. If I was forced to trade one of them, it would be Reed.
Cotts never a starter? Damn, you are quick to condemn someone for failure to be lights out as they begin their career. I think Cotts will be a decent starter down the road.
Borchard has 4 of the 5 tools. If he can shorten up that swing, he'll be a stud. I know it's a big if, but I'm not really excited about the next Mark Kotsay, either.
I'm sure NYY would rather have Beltran wearing White Sox over Red ones, but I don't think they'd want to strengthen us that much. They may regret doing so in October.
