  1. @Andy_Fenelon Between 2004-07, pick following Raiders' selection in first round: Fitzgerald, Rodgers, Whitner, Megatron.
  2. I may be a homer, but I think Rodgers should win MVP again this year. Played behind a banged up o-line all year. Jennings and Nelson missed most of the year. He has an 18:3 touchdown to interception ratio on the road this year. 11-4 record. Although I have no problem with Manning or Brady winning it or Peterson if they make the playoffs.
  3. @PFF Friday morning stat! QBs throwing at GB's Casey Hayward have a rating of 23.5, by far the best mark in the NFL. Oh, and he's a rookie! This part of the reason the Packers don't miss Woodson as much as they would have in years past.

    Syria

Pretty crazy story. Richard Engel and members of his network production team were freed from captors in Syria
  5. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Dec 17, 2012 -> 03:35 PM) He can hold the ball too long and will get sacked yet he can make plays as well so they live with it. He also seems to be able to get sacked without it taking him out of games. Yeah sometimes he barely gets tackled. Rodgers has a pretty good sense of when to get in the fetal position and just go down. Cutler is always taking some ugly shots. Probably because the DE is running at him untouched.
  6. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Dec 17, 2012 -> 03:24 PM) Another point, I heard yesterday that Rodgers has been sacked more than any other QB this season? I have a lot more respect for him after hearing that. Green Bay has had QB protection isues but that doesn't make Rodgers get pouty and ineffective. ARodg is just an awesome player, he gets the job done no matter what. To be fair though, he does have more weapons and has a HC who knows what an offense is. The OL for the Packers has been banged up this year, but some of those sacks are on Rodgers.
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 17, 2012 -> 01:51 PM) Tied at 14th in yards given up with Dallas, slightly better (9) in scoring defense. They'd be in the bottom half of the league if they didn't get to play the Bears. Second in sacks and they missed their best pass rusher for 5 games. They are in the top 5 in takeovers. Dom Capers is always gonna give up yards. I would put them in top 10-12 defenses in the league. Also as playing the Bears. All teams play bad offenses. The 49ers get to play 4 games against St. Louis and Arizona every year.
  8. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Dec 17, 2012 -> 01:49 PM) We've seen it before, a team barely gets in and goes on to win the SB, the last two years in fact. Could happen this year too. I just don't think the Bears have it in them, the OL is just too horrible. They made the mediocre GB defense look elite yesterday. The Packers defense isn't mediocre.
  9. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Dec 17, 2012 -> 10:58 AM) Bet they boo the kicker in GB. They sure do!
  10. Most tyrannical governments take over with popular support.
  11. I think this is gonna be a good year for OL in the draft.
  12. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 17, 2012 -> 10:00 AM) With severely limited personal freedoms. Those governments are insanely intrusive with search and seizure laws for example. UK's government watches everything (and sadly, we're following that trend) We passed the Patriot Act here and we have 300 million guns. Governments will pass intrusive laws if it's citizens have guns or not.
  13. QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Dec 17, 2012 -> 09:55 AM) The only defense needed is it is my right per the constitution to own a gun. You don't like guns and want to restrict that or outright take it away. If I want to legally by a Glock 19, I can do so. I should not have to prove to you, or anyone else, WHY I NEED it. I want it. I went thru background checks, waiting periods, have no criminal record, I got my gun. More paperwork than it took to vote. You want all these restriction on a right. Take away this one, and the next one becomes easier. Talking bad about the government? Well, we need to put a stop to that! You see it in dictatorships all the time, and even now in the UN where Russia, China and others want to seize control over what is on the internet as they are tired of their people seeing truth out there. This hasn't been the case in other countries. I still consider Japan and U.K to be very free countries.
  14. Playoff picture in the NFC is pretty crazy right now. Five teams are 8-6.
  15. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 17, 2012 -> 09:20 AM) A guy at the game said that he was one of the highest paid kickers in the league. He's basically as accurate as a college kicker at this point. He got a contract couple years ago. He has been fine until this year. Last year was really good. I hope it's just a funk, but it's been a season long thing.
  16. You would pretty much be asking teachers to become soldiers.
  17. I actually thought Jeffery should of had another PI called on him. They instead called it on Shields, even though Jeffery was pushing Shields to the ground by his face mask. They will usually let WR do a little bit, but Jeffery was blunting pushing Shields to the ground.
  18. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 14, 2012 -> 02:09 PM) It's not a joke to point out that the immediate "Zomg! we have to ban guns or we'll all die!" response was and is equally ridiculous as the last gun-related tragedy that occurred because a CRAZY PERSON IS f***ING CRAZY AND DID SOMETHING ONLY A CRAZY PERSON WOULD DO. So let's just do nothing. Next time it happens, probably in a week or so. We will just say f*** this crazy guy and go about our business. Remember now is not the time to talk about gun laws! Repeat. Every week or so.
  19. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 14, 2012 -> 01:39 PM) They still have guns, from your own link - they can own shotguns and air rifles. As far as this: I'm fine with all of that. Some states already have some of those measures, but i'd be fine making them more difficult to buy. You're making me jump through more hoops, and you're not going to stop an incident like this, but fine, if that makes you feel better about it. They can still get shotguns, but barely. They have almost no guns and they have almost no gun homicides. We had about 10,000.

  22. The media needs to stop interviewing children.
  23. It's not just Lovie, when it comes to injuries all coaches get weird and don't want any info out.
  24. According to Pro Football Focus, Finley wasn't that far off. @PFF Bears were already adjusting things to scheme around Urlacher. Having OLBs take the deep MLB drop for example. ON field might be better now That being said Finley should have known better to say that.
