  1. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 5, 2012 -> 11:47 AM) Edgar Bennett is still available too. Yeah, he's the WR coach. So he already knows the playbook. Just plug him right in.
  2. @jasonjwilde The #Packers and @RyanGrant25 have agreed to terms and the running back will sign with his old team this morning, per Grant. If he gets hurt maybe they can bring back Ahman Green or maybe Jim Taylor.
  3. From just a few minutes ago. @pdanahar There really is an awful lot of artillery fire coming into #Gaza at moment from #Israel Sometimes more than 10 rounds in one burst of fire They need to get that ceasefire done.
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 20, 2012 -> 11:40 AM) Harbaugh & Schiano have seemed to buck the trend recently. I wonder if it helps that both are hard asses. I forgot about Harbaugh. Schiano i'm still not sold on. I was thinking more of college coaches that run these high flying college offenses that don't translate to the NFL. Nick Saban has NFL experience as coordinator.
  5. QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 20, 2012 -> 11:33 AM) I wouldn't expect him to run the offense he runs at Oregon in the NFL. To me, the key is not necessarily the concepts he has implemented. It is the ability to conceptualize something different that is very effective. and implement that on a mass scale. I think he will either be a big hit or Steve Spurrier. It will be a risk for whoever brings him in. College coaches just haven't had success in recent years going to the NFL.
  6. QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 20, 2012 -> 10:46 AM) I think he's a brilliant offensive mind. I would say he is a brilliant college offensive mind. The current offense he runs at Oregon would get killed in the NFL. He could use certain parts of it. Like the tempo of the offense, but you can't run the option in the NFL.
  7. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 20, 2012 -> 09:06 AM) With two more games vs. Jared Allen and one more with Clay Matthews, the Bears will be a huge player in the NFL sacks title. I still can't believe they shut down J.J. Watt. The put a lot of guys on Watt. He was double and triple teamed.
  8. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 08:47 AM) That's why I suggested skipping the game and just having a FG contest. Akers vs. Gould would be a nice match up.
  9. I think you could see a 9-6 type game tonight.

    Hello everybody,

How about a Lexus? Seems to work in the commercials.
  13. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 13, 2012 -> 04:31 PM) This suggests to me that Aaron Rodgers or someone else on the Packers is Batman, and that makes me angry. Batman = great Packers = f*** them Aaron Rodgers is totally Batman.
  14. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Nov 13, 2012 -> 07:51 AM) Ok, so the Chiefs suck. I knew this before the game last night, but if anyone for whatever reason watched last night, that was them in a nutshell. Everything that can wrong, will go wrong. They had an offensive TD called back because of holding. Drive result? Missed FG. Ensuing Pittsburgh possession, defensive TD reversed on replay. But wait, a TD celebration still stands and gives Pittsburgh a 1st down instead of 4th. Two more first downs on the drive because of a KC penalty on 3rd down and the Steelers take the lead. I can't even make this up. Pathetic. Between their generally suckage, Cassell being Cassell, Bowe dropping everything and the weather, the last thing they needed were those awful calls that went Pittsburgh's way late in the 4th though. Ugh, such a horrible season. What's weird about watching the Chiefs is that they actually have talent. It's not like when you watch Jacksonville and they just don't have any good players. I think if the Chiefs get a better coach and QB they could be a much better team.
  15. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 12, 2012 -> 04:13 PM) As a Bills fan, I'm glad he spurned them and ultimately ended up as the Packers backup. They have enough mediocre QBs to deal with, Harrell would have just added another wrinkle to that. You think the Bills will draft a new QB this year?
  16. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 12, 2012 -> 03:43 PM) After Mike Florio of PFT said it, the idiots came out of the woodwork Always remember that Mike Florio is a Vikings fan. One of the worst things a human can be.
  17. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Nov 12, 2012 -> 03:40 PM) *sigh*....6 concussions for Jay Cutler.... why does this injury s*** always have to happen to Chicago teams? I can't even think of a recent season in any major sport that wasn't ruined by injuries any more The Packers have put about 40 players on IR this year.
  18. Halo 4 is amazing, the cut scenes are crazy. It feels like you are watching real actors. The multiplayer is fun as always.
  19. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 12, 2012 -> 12:28 PM) Packers T Bryan Bulaga placed on IR, done for the year Awesome.
  20. I'm glad they are cracking down on that stuff. They need to stop the racist and homophobic slurs. That should one strike you are out. Permanent ban.
  21. I doubt he plays next Monday. With a history of concussions and playing the 49ers. Might be smart to sit him out.
  22. @BradBiggs After illegal hit on Jay Cutler, 4 minutes, 57 seconds passed before #Bears next snap w/o concussion evaluation. Can the Bears get in trouble for this?
  23. I like the one person who called Obama a "Jew-hating socialist piece of s*** Nazi." I guess he didn't see this. President Barack Obama received 69 percent of the Jewish vote Tuesday.
  24. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 7, 2012 -> 09:27 AM) Oh the irony! As for the results, I think this is a clear message to the GOP that the national party committee needs to "rig" the system so that the primaries aren't about all about appealing to the crazy right and then be forced back to the middle come election time. It's time to concede the gay marriage and abortion battles in order to win the war. It's time to fight back on the immigration message and give the American people a good reason why 100% amnesty isn't the answer, and if you oppose 100% amnesty you don't condone the killing and raping of little latino girls. I'm not very optimistic about the next 4 years. It's still a divided country, and i'm sad that we're becoming western Europe more and more by the day. "Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country" has been completely flipped in 50 years. We are an entitled nation that now demands the Federal government play the role of babysitter and provider. That's sad. There's a place for that in the government's responsibilities, but not at the cost of losing that mentality of individualism and self-responsibility. I'm 100% in agreement with SS2k5 - give me a candidate that stays out of my wallet and out of my bedroom. Legalize drugs, stop the abortion fight, allow gay marriage, whatever. But if we're deciding government can't decide moral issues, then the government shouldn't be able to take my money in order to pay for governments supposed moral responsibilities. People in this country got a taste of the anti-western Europe, the Tea Party. Extreme social conservatism and free market liberal economics. Yesterday they said we don't want that. I don't think we are anywhere close to becoming Europe or that by rejecting the Tea Party people want to totally be Europe, but I don't think becoming more like Europe in certain areas is a bad thing and I think people in this country see that. Especially when it comes to social issues.
