I personally think Jeff Cox is caught in between here, crappy team speed - but if he holds people up routinely as he should, he's seen as too conservative when our bad situational hitting fails to get people in. Also b/c we've been hosed by some calls at the plate (yes I'm Hawk)

The one thing w/ Flowers - if he cant get people pitching around him at the higher levels, he's a totally different offensive player. And the defense is very TBD. I just cant buy a principle in a Javy deal as a principle in a Halladay deal. Hope it happens though!

To be rabidly pro-Pods on here would be to take a 'non-internet-smarts' position, i'm sure 90% of the pro-Pods people out there were 05 sentimentalists or even people with a passing fancy of the team. so to be all for him at that point, in this setting at least, takes a lot of guts
