  1. We are actually playing pretty well as far as doing things talented teams do
  2. Why does Getz dress like he’s the regional manager of a burger chain?
  3. Running into outs on the bases and giving them away in the field. Dumbasses.
  4. He'll have his little "hot month" in June to get back to around a 220/250/380 line and he'll only be -.4 WAR instead of -1.3 and hopefully that that point he'll finally be cut.
  5. Problem with the burger, vaughn, torkelson types is if they ain't hitting at least for like a 780 OPS they are completely worthless. A player like robert, currently hitting all of a 180 with a couple HR is still on pace to have an average regular season because of his value on the bases and in CF. We really have to stop looking for "1B/DH" and just let whoever can hit (hopefully Vargus) but isn't an above average defender take it over full time, a lot of good teams do this, they just put whoever hits the most but otherwise isn't a great defender there and let the roster shake out organically.
  6. Shockingly we have some decent starts on the WAR for position players. The only two bums are Vaughn and Amaya, everybody else is at least neutral or positive. Compared to last year that is some small progress. I guess Palacios is under now that I look again, but he should be off the team soon hopefully. Also, Vaughn is now alone at -1 fWAR as the WORST PLAYER IN MLB.
  7. He's a lot easier to appreciate when he's doing superstar s%*#.
  8. Crazy stat: two teams have 5 wins of 8+ runs: cubs and sox. but how?
  9. And now he's had like 40 hot ones. I mean, he's still negative WAR for his career. Let's hold up on the "gotchas".
  10. damn you're not kidding one hit in his last 5 games for Sheets.
  11. Right. It's not like he was just a bad regular, he was arguably the worst regular in MLB since the trade, competing with our own Andrew Vaughn. So he's gotten hot for a couple weeks, well keep it up. Finishing with like a 250/300/450 line would be a really good season.
  12. to be fair he did look completely overmatched in every facet of the game. putting on that muscle was key for him and it's paid off. he at least looks the part of a MLB player physically now. He also seems to have put in a lot of work defensively as he's been fine at 3B.
  13. That's a lot according to @WestEddy so yea, look out.
  14. Daniel Bennett Palka is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Algodoneros de Unión Laguna of the Mexican League.
  15. He's been good lately but he's got a lot to still prove. He is 25 and is finally producing a bit, keep it up.
  16. slash lines looking a bit better. don't have a lineup full of 160/200/250 anymore at least.
