Out of our 26 man roster, how many will be in baseball in three years? I can see maybe half the roster at best with some notables playing overseas or just barely hanging on as NRI types. I'd probably waive or just DFA 3-4 guys in the next month and rotate in some other slop. There's really nothing to lose other than a few million on the payroll, which to be fair might be too big of ask for our shithole franchise.

Interesting. These marathons are quite disruptive. The NYC one basically makes getting from Brooklyn to Manhattan impossible by car. It always screwed with our canvassing operations.

It was just some fluke and really means jack squat. As @Look at Ray Ray Run said if the Sox think this is some inefficiency they are wrong, certainly not at a team wide application. A certain hitter or two I could buy, but you can't have an entire lineup of guys watching strikes go by.
