Statcast: 55th percentile defender. Run neutral. You can use the eye test or you can use advanced metrics. Hell use both for all I care but don't ignore the metrics. He's fine at 2B. He works to improve his first step he could be solid.

He's the only guy on the team that hits well enough relative to his position other than the rookie catchers and so for Colson. For that reason alone I'd say he should be able to continue to play 2B most days. That said, I can also see his bat playing in a corner OF, so I'd give him some reps their in the offseason and spring, see how he takes to it. Doesn't need to even spend too much time on it, just enough to see if it's something he could do once a week or something without being horrible.

Personally feels like the season is firmly in the denouement now. The MLB roster took a small step forward, the minor league system all together, given it graduated Colson, took a small step back. Org wise it feels like progress but also absolutely insufficient if the goal is to win anything before 2028. We need at least two more seasons of building, and that's with good moves.
