QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 10:02 PM) Robin makes Abreu strike out. Yea I will critique Robin for things he controls like leaving in Duke to face Perez. He has nothing to do with the strikeouts that's the roster and today's game.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 10:01 PM) Wade Davis magically became an amazing power pitcher out of nowhere. Hmmmm. Eh moved to the pen last year...

what a f***ing take. That is why you are Jose Abreu.

97mph on the black. Yea, I kinda can see how scoring is down. Jesus, every guy the Royals throw out there is a f***ing stud.

QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 09:56 PM) Check that wind. That might be why Gordon missed that ball. WGN showed the flags it's certainly a steady wind. Thank god Avi made that play. Honestly I think last year with the extra weight he might have over ran it.

There is no universe where Duke should be in right now against Perez.

This will not end well.

QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 09:52 PM) Seriously. If this is the strike zone, bring in the computers. That will fix the offensive issue. Yep the strike zone is all over the place and I'm about ready for robots.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 09:50 PM) Didn't seem like Eaton thought that was a straight steal. Wow, even worse than a stupid steal would be a missed sign. Between this and the delayed steal the Sox are not covering themselves in glory.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 09:44 PM) Depends on how much he walks. .280/.310/.320 is not gonna get you 3 WAR unless you're one of the best defenders in baseball. I think he'll slap a few more xbh than a .040 ISO 280/330/380 is not out of the realm of possibility this year if he gets the PA. Trying to hold my tongue on the Micah PR.

There's a non zero chance Sanchez turns into a pretty damn good player IMO. If he can slap singles to a 280 average with that glove he's going to be a 3 WAR player.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 08:35 PM) His behavior is fine he's a little too obsessed with my posts for my liking. If you can't b**** about Robin in a game thread then yea, this isn't going to work. anyways, I'm done here tonight have fun boys.

gotta do something better than that with that cookie Avi. and strikes out. So predicable.

Not a fan of how Flowers sets up behind the plate.

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 08:28 PM) Sox just seem so flat, and KC seems energized Helps when you battle and hit line drives to seem "energized". Then again, Robin has the energy of an obese 80 year old so maybe something needs to change.

what a s*** start to the year.

Imagine how f***ing tired Stone is of him.

lol! You guys I was thinking the same damn thing about Hawk. You know it's bad when 3 people on a die hard board are complaining in the first inning.

QUOTE (JoshPR @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 08:25 PM) No need to hit Cain there def don't think he was trying -- ball was inside but cain f***ing could have done a better job of getting out of the way.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 08:23 PM) Eaton needs to make that play. pretty poor jump it seemed. that said that ball was crushed.

this f***ing guy man.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 08:22 PM) His little rocker step hesitation I think really helps keep hitters off his fastball Yea I agree it's quite deceptive.

damn jose flashing the leather.

Lol Hawk saying "get foul" on a ball the camera director didn't think was close enough to even show.

I love watching Q pitch for the most part he attacks and works quickly. Love how he pounds the zone with that 90-93mph fastball. Not a nibbler even though he doesn't rush it up there and he chances speeds well enough to make it seem quicker.
