But he passes the eye test easily as an athlete so not really that hung up on those stats. I think scouts need something other than average EV to eval guys like Colston because it severely under rates the quality of his contact. Maybe hard hit % is a better singular metric. He's bang average in hard hit % but bottom 20% in avg EV.

Martin reminds me of Gavin Floyd. he doesn't really know where any of his pitches are going, that's a 50/50 proposition but on the right night can work. crazy movement, little control.

Venable just seems like a laid back dude but can also tell it how it needs to be said. His tactics are mediocre but I can see being a young player and enjoying playing for him. Latin and US guys both.
