  1. To me the more interesting quote was before the laughable accountability one: So what exactly is KW's role? It was assumed by many he was basically just a scout + advisor but does he actually still have executive responsibilities? He's claiming it's JR, which is fine, but there's so many questions about what exactly his role is, how it impacts the org, and so on.
  2. Until anything actually changes, including KW himself let go, it's just lip service.
  3. It doesn't matter. We don't have any good lead off hitters. TA is ideally more of a 5-6 slot on a good offense himself. Beni? Ha.
  4. You've watched enough baseball not to think that. Bad teams will always have good moments. It's 162 games ya know?
  5. The Sox enter tonight with 1.2 fWAR among position players and 1.0 among pitchers. That ranks 27th overall.
  6. Maybe Montgomery and Robert. That's about it.
  7. So how many of the 60 we're gonna win already turned into losses?
  8. his defense and baserunning are bottom 3rd among regulars. He can hit but his average launch angle is like 8.6 degrees and he's never been over 10 degrees. Productive hitters of his body type are at like 17-18 and higher. Bro. We just have so many players that don't do what they should given their role.
  9. WAR This is impressive.
  10. Well you guys are lucky, I was going to post some horrific fWAR updates but their website is down.
  11. Farm sucks too. Detroit and Chicago are arguably the two worst franchises in MLB right now. Other teams might be worse right now, but we are the two worst run franchises.
  12. If it was one guy or hell even two you'd say it was just an individual issue but when it happens over and over it has to be something about the training and scouting. We never really trade guys early, always a year too late. That's a major weakness.
  13. bro it's not the manager, it's the players and the org that hires them.
  14. The Mendoza Line:
  15. bassit is just throwing straight junk outer 3rd to every righty and it's the 3rd time through and our fucking "professional hitters" still haven't noticed.
  16. and DH, and SP, and RP and RF and SS. Other than that, we're good.
  17. dude eloy needs to be swinging at that garbage. it's a fucking 72mph hanger, who cares if it's a bit inside isn't that the fucking point of standing a billion feet off the plate with that stance? and then gets jammed on a 92mph "fastball". what a fucking joke. can't cover any of the plate.
  18. Nice crowd on hand for a random Monday night game in Toronto. Must be nice to have a young exciting club.
  19. I laughed off the Mariners' "control the zone" mantra that they have been preaching non stop here but it's better than whatever the f*** Chicago teaches. We should do Montgomery a favor and trade him before our staff ruins his approach.
  20. We have a lineup of guys that sell out for pull side power and YET WE HAVE NO POWER. WHAT THE f***.
  21. Why do all our guys have such stupid open stances? I get that you're trying to see the ball out of the hand but it also leads to timing issues. Look at how far Robert is moving his lower body just to cover the middle of the plate. Brutal.
  22. Lynn is toast. He was a sticky stuff guy and now he's also old.
  23. This ballgame is OVAH!
  24. ah s%*# here we go again.
