MLB COVID-19 outbreaks: None of as Sept 18
I fucking love it. Plesac comes off like a spoiled brat on social media. As the kids say: get rekt.

Leadoff Man going forward - TA or Robert?
It's a long debate but I honestly don't think many MLB players or any pro athletes really are susceptible to pressure. If they were, they wouldn't be pro athletes. That said, Robert is fine at 6 or 7 in his rookie year. He's probably like a 270/300/450 hitter right now, and that's probably not as good as anybody higher in the lineup.

Even better, for some reason had a notion you were a golden domer. Regardless, let's kick some ass and do some headbanging!

You're not bad for a ND fan.

Series v St. LOUIS
It's on. MLB is doing a pretty good job IMO. In fact they are proving that at least with a professional sport you don't have to do a bubble, even in the hotbed of COVID in the US.

Series v St. LOUIS
Hopefully Moncada comes out of this feeling fresh. Also good to get the bullpen some rest, Foster should be ready to come out firing as the opener.

Leadoff Man going forward - TA or Robert?
TA is the leadoff guy. He's proving he's a legit 300+ batter and at that rate it doesn't really matter too much how many walks he takes as long as it's not zero.. He's up there pissing off the starter and more often than not hitting the ball hard.

Sox playoff chances sit at 100%, 3rd in AL for WS odds
Luis Robert I'd guess has at least 1/3.

Series v St. LOUIS
Let's just sweep them and put them out of their misery so nobody has to worry about them finishing in the playoffs, regardless of games played. They don't seem ready to play from what people here are saying, even before the cancellations, so let's bury them and set them on a 10 game losing streak. Karma.

Series v St. LOUIS
I said it the other day Foster has a great riding fastball, nice to see that confirmed in this tidbit from Fegan this morning (go get a sub to the Athletic):

Series v St. LOUIS
I think so too. No reason to rush this if the Cardinals have another fuckup their season is done and as a MLB fan I don't want teams to be disqualified by Corona.

Series v St. LOUIS
Cool, again, I'm oddly confident in Foster, maybe he can get stretched out for 3 innings this week as the opener.

Anybody knows who the probables are? We got Giolito and Dallas lined up no?

Would you add a FA starter b4 2021, and who/why?
Def not. Hahn does not overpay for closers, thankfully. In fact I'd say he's more likely to be traded this season than resigned. As for OP, I'd love Bauer for next year but seems a long shot for many reasons.

Stroman: I stand with Tim Anderson
This dude is awesome. You gotta love TA. He can legit hit 350/380/550. Just catch the ball once and awhile Valentin! Except TA can be better and Sox got him in his prime. And he plays with max swag, love it. Emotional leader in a way Abreu or even Eloy or Giolito never will. Some guys just run 110% and don't have another way and team mates feel obligated to follow. It's not as big of a deal in baseball as a more emotional sport like football or basketball but it sure as hell doesn't hurt. Put some respect on that [expletive] name!
