GT: Tigers (27-54) @ White Sox (41-42), July 4
I'm so sick of this shit. Great job Tigers nearly throwing it away gets him injured. Who do we even have to fucking play 2B Rondon to second? Could be broken fuck off Tigers.

Yea he doesn't fucking need an extra 6 inches on the inside corner. FFS.

How Long Until Contracts Start Being Discussed?
I'd start talking about Giolito next year around this time. I need to see him pitch about 200 innings at this new level before commiting. In general I'm more leary of extending SP, for obvious reasons. Let's see how his body handles his new delivery for another couple hundred innings before talking about an extension.

I don't live in Chicago, never have. Visited plenty but I just don't get the obsession. I guess maybe if I lived in Chicago it would be different. For most of my life the Cubs were a laughing stock it appears their recent success has stung some prideful Sox fans but for me personally I really don't GAF. I enjoy the lamentings of Bleed Cubbie Blue as much as the next guy but these constant comparisons between the clubs get old.

I think it's simple: there is zero rush on anybody. period. Earliest you can start talking extensions for most of these guys would be next summer.

A Yoan Moncada Jose Abreu fueled WHITE SOX WINNER!
wow. when you see that happen you think this is one of those "learning to fly" type moments. If Jose wants to continue to just swing at everything at hit 35 hr a year with the juiced ball he's cool to stay as well. Moncada -- wow. Just a stud. OK @Look at Ray Ray Run I see ur 6+ WAR talent. WOW. Kudos to the pen too they came through in the end some tough breaks tonight for the pitching.

one thing rickie has cut way the fuck back on is stupid ass pinch running decisions early in games and he's also making the obvious defensive sub in the 9th. I'll give him credit for that.

Cubs fans are ready for Joe to go it seems. I have to say I kinda agree his lineups are downright ozzie at the end esque at this point.
