Every year we see examples of aging DH/1B types falling off a production cliff and yet we have all these "but Jose will age well" posts. I think we've seen the end of Jose Abreu as a productive regular in real time folks. It sucks but objectively this what it looks like.

I'm ready to win and see the wins fueled by TA, Moncada, Rodon, etc. I'm sick of losing. The last 250 games or so have been enough. It's probably not going to happen but I would love to go .500 in August and September and see Eloy come up and help that effort.

No update on Eloy on Twitter from what I can tell. He was scheduled to return in "two weeks", 10 days ago. So he should be returning this weekend or early next week according to the initial timetable.

Would have been very skeptical of seeing that from Rodon this season based on where he was with the shoulder late last summer. Awesome. So far so good with his recovery. Really looked like the ace the Sox thought they were getting when they drafted him last night. Stay healthy dude you still have a lot of future here.

I feel ya. Sox are in town soon here in Seattle and I'm not sure if I will even bother to get tickets. Usually try and either go with my good buddy who's a neutral or just grab a solo ticket by the Sox dugout for cheap. This year I'm not sure. Who would I even really want to see? A scuffling Jose, a treading water Moncada? Tim would be the only guy really. Maybe Lopez.

I tell ya what if all this sucking doesn't result in a playoff appearance in the next three years it might be time to take a step back from hardcore White Sox fandom. This is brutal. Anybody that says differently isn't watching this shit product on a daily basis. I mean, I get it, the point is to suck, but this is clown shows on a nightly basis.

Can't go into the season with Engel and Palka as two of the three OF imo. Not sure what options will be there but those guys are dead enders in the OF and 25 man.

Everybody on this club, including Hahn, has about 75 games left where improvement as a club doesn't matter -- where "sucking ass" is a feature not a bug. Everything changes February 18th or so 2019. I don't think you can sell another 55-65 win club next year, not with all the young talent that should be arriving by early summer next year.

If he's too hurt to play he should be on the DL. if he's healthy enough to play then talking about how "he's slumping because he's hurt" is a tautology and useless. Every guy on that field is playing with some soreness and possibly even injury after 90 or so games. He's looking like an aging slugger, not a guy that has a lot of great years left.
