Man it is a post card perfect day here in Seattle for the Mariner's opener. Low 60s, gentle breeze and bright late march afternoon sun. If the Michigan game wasn't on later I'd consider scalping some tickets and hitting up Saf, er, T-Mobile park. This is the nicest weather they've had for an opener probably since I moved here 7 years ago.

nice, took me about 30 seconds to find a perfect free stream.

This is "strained hamstring" weather if there ever was.

you'd think they'd fucking pump some of the water off the tarp so you know, it doesn't flood the OF when they roll it up.

Things were going to work out perfectly if the game started at 4. Now not so much.

Royals just announced another delay. I'm so sick of this shit man. We haven't had a good opening day in what feels like 10 years.

that's not lightning that's the plasma field around a baseball at light speed.- 3/28 GT - Sox @ Royals (3:15pm CST)
oh man, now I'm hungry.- 3/28 GT - Sox @ Royals (3:15pm CST)
Grab some popcorn and a beer all indications are the game will be played, and it will have delays.- 3/28 GT - Sox @ Royals (3:15pm CST)
If nothing else on days Rodon and Lopez pitch it might be worth tuning in. I figure I'll watch most of their starts and punt on the rest unless the team catches fire or something. Going to be relying on free streams this year hopefully it works because I do not want to pay for this shit.- 3/28 GT - Sox @ Royals (3:15pm CST)
They saved it by getting Eloy up. I'm excited.- 3/28 GT - Sox @ Royals (3:15pm CST)
Right, that's the gist of what the weather woman was saying.- 3/28 GT - Sox @ Royals (3:15pm CST)
This woman seems fairly optimistic there will be a window. That said, it's too bad they didn't move the game up an hour.- 3/28 GT - Sox @ Royals (3:15pm CST)
Long day of sports ahead come on get this game in it's the perfect lead up to the UM game.- How many games will the White Sox win in 2019?
- Opening Day Weather in KC
Figures. Looking at the hourly forecast tho Flavum is def correct they should try and move it up. Most of the rain is predicted for later in the afternoon after 3 or so. I think they'll get the game in although it might get delayed for a passing shower.- General Announcement: Diamond Club
I thought as part of a good will campaign everybody registered here got free diamond club tix on the White Sox and this was the party thread. FML.- 03/26 vs. Arizona 2:40 PM
What's his spray chart like? He could be a guy that analytics on batted ball tendencies will hurt big time.- Sox interested in Yolbert Sanchez
I think we have some common ground here as it's intuitive to think that most low minors hitters are benefiting more from the typical hard throwing no control A ball pitcher than any great command of the strike zone. For college hitters using metal bats completely screws up the data imo. I'd be looking carefully at how how any college hitter performed in wooden bat summer league ball. I'm curious as all hell to see how Madrigal fairs in AA this year once guys that can find the zone start pounding him and he has to prove he won't get the bat knocked out of his hand. - 3/28 GT - Sox @ Royals (3:15pm CST)
