  1. QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 8, 2013 -> 03:43 PM) It's about time they got to Dalton. Did they say Shea got that?
  2. There are 10 games going on right now. 7 of them are within 4 points, 8 within 5 points. Only 1 game has more than a 2 TD lead.
  3. Ok, now I'm more impressed. That was a helluva play for the offense on the TD. Perfect play action fake, good protection, and a gorgeous throw.
  4. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 8, 2013 -> 03:37 PM) I was just trying to point out why he won't be retiring. That home run had to feel so good and he knows 15 mill don't grow on trees. And I notice how you didn't try to defend the line I highlighted as garbage.
  5. QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 8, 2013 -> 03:35 PM) Just run a sneak behind your linemen. The Bengals might not be dumb enough to leave a lineman uncovered to allow an easy sneak. Like, you know, the Bears did in the first half.
  6. QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 8, 2013 -> 03:33 PM) What a s***ty spot. Forte got that. That's the kind of result I expect on Forte running in short yardage.
  7. QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 8, 2013 -> 03:29 PM) There's the big play to Marshall. Lots of guts to go for a big pass on third and short. I think they had Forte underneath for the short gain but Cutler's eyes opened when he saw Marshall that open. Good decision.
  8. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 8, 2013 -> 03:23 PM) Lovie joke still not funny The TO usage is, however.
  9. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 8, 2013 -> 03:09 PM) The homer by Dunn is why he's not going to retire. He'll remember how good that felt and look at his numbers and see he's still "productive." Hope his final year in a White Sox uniform is a winner, but that doesn't seem likely. It's amazing how no team in baseball will want a guy with his numbers. Just makes too much money for the whiff machine he often is. Will you please stop with this garbage? It's the same as saying "I can't believe no team in baseball would want a hall of famer like Albert Pujols" which is fundamentally true for exactly the same reason. You just keep doing it.
  10. QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 8, 2013 -> 03:19 PM) The Bears are wasting a lot of time outs today. I can't believe they haven't fired Lovie for his inability to get the team organized yet.
  11. QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 8, 2013 -> 03:00 PM) Gotta get Cutler on the move. Bengals made a mistake by sending the big blitz honestly, the Bears O-line can't stop their D-line on normal plays, sending the extra guys gave Cutler running room.
  12. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 09:47 PM) She's a politician. They're all diabolical, cutthroat, etc. That's ok if you have a penis.
  13. QUOTE (sircaffey @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 10:29 PM) Because Iran isn't backing the US, it shows the US is isolated? Iran? Did you really expect them to support the US? 10 or 11 countries just signed a joint statement at the G20 calling for a strong international response. The US is certainly not isolated in their desire for action. Seriously? The U.S. not only can't even get a pretense of a U.N. Resolution making their desire to bomb syria anything other than an illegal war crime, they couldn't even get the United Kingdom along for the ride this time. If the U.S. goes forwards with this aerial murder campaign, by comparison it'll make the Iraq war look like it had strong international support. We don't even need to forget about Poland this time!
  14. Let's see, early use of timeouts, useless offense, defense generating turnovers and offense bailed out by the special teams. I see Lovie Smith still hasn't found an offensive coordinator he's comfortable with.
  15. QUOTE (sircaffey @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 03:36 PM) Does the opposite of what? If it makes Iran and Russia support the government more and accomplishes tasks on the battlefield it shows that the us is so isolated even gassing civilians isn't enough to get people to trust them. It pretty well shows that chemical waepons are fine to use. Unless the us is willing to overthrow Assad themselves.
  16. Baez's swings make Viciedo look short and under control, but he kills the ball when he makes contact.
  17. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 07:08 PM) Teams don't do stuff like that in the minors. The pitch he hit was high and probably out of the zone too.
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 06:57 PM) I feel like all of his offspeed pitches are well below average, which is one of the reasons he ends up throwing so many pitches as the hitters just foul off his fastball. So you're saying he wouldn't make a great starting pitcher. Wow. And his slider was a plus pitch last year.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 06:44 PM) With an OPS over 1.4 vs LHP, Birmingham shouldn't even consider pitching to Baez if a lefty is on the mound. Teams don't do stuff like that in the minors.
  20. QUOTE (farmteam @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 05:46 PM) You're going to be missing the thrilling IU-Navy matchup! 85 degrees, hardly a cloud in the sky, closest thing to playoff baseball I'll get this year.
  21. QUOTE (Marty34 @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 06:07 PM) His stuff is short of what you want from a closer. And this type of post is the exact kind of worthless trash I mean.
  22. I don't mind people cheering for the draft pick nearly as much as the people waiting to celebrate every failure by declaring how right they were about player x being mediocre because of a single outing. The garbage about Reed in this thread is a perfect example.
