It's the feeling. So I can go and tell other people that they need to take into account my anecdotes, and data on actual results of weapons from even some of the harshest urban areas in the country don't count. There's no level of evidence that can be provided that having a gun puts a person at greater risk, puts their family at greater risk, puts everyone around them at greater risk, that can overwhelm that feeling.
