  1. Pitch 110 finishes off Soto.
  2. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 06:00 PM) He's Humberlievable. You like this.
  3. The Bullpen should start inning 7. It won't, but it should. At worst, you've got to have someone ready to go the moment a runner gets on.
  4. Gameday thinks pitch 5 was a stirke to Dunn.
  5. Damnit...come on Philip...get Byrd hunting!
  6. QUOTE (Hollywood_AU @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 05:52 PM) This is honestly not hyperbole. Is Adam Dunn the worst "regular" in Major League Baseball? What can the Sox do with him? The money is already blown--the best thing for the team right now is simply for Dunn not to play. The Sox simply have to play him. Yes, he's certainly up there in being one of the worst regulars in MLB. But you just can't bench this guy. Not with this set of circumstances.
  7. Ok Philip...just one more!
  8. Come on Philip, one more ground ball!!!!
  9. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 05:53 PM) Why is the 6th inning becoming such a problem lately. Philip isn't conditioned beyond about 95 pitches, so he starts getting iffy right here.
  10. Here comes pitch 90. Please tell me the bullpen is up.
  11. Crap crap crap, come on Philip!
  12. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 05:50 PM) Sox pitchers besides MB not helping themselves. M-56 had an error his last time out too, he just pitched over it.
  13. Damnation. Barney gets on as the leadoff hitter for the bigger bats, breaks Humbers retired streak. Come on Philip, make something eaSY!
  14. QUOTE (soxfan3530 @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 05:48 PM) the pitches were on the inside corner, but that called strike 3 was right there. Gameday put it over the plate but on the outer half, so at least Garza should get some credit for an effective sequence.
  15. DJ was actually defending him on that one...Garza was supposedly very effective at nailing the inside corner with 3 pitches to the point where Dunn had to protect that side of the plate, then he nailed the outside.
  16. 75 pitches for Garza through 6, he was under 50 prior to that inning.
  17. I'd rather have had the K looking than a DP, so I'll tolerate that. This has been a long inning for Garza, getting his pitch count up at last.
  18. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 05:42 PM) It looks like the last 2 went around the plate. Gameday thinks both were on the corner and strikes.
  19. Anything but a DP, I'd rather have the K Adam.
  20. Come on Adam, break it open!
  21. Morel and Pierre with the successful hit and run once again. Keep putting it on Ozzie, it works so well.
  22. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 05:39 PM) what happened? RBI single for Pierre.
  23. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 05:38 PM) Pierre will be our leadoff guy for the next 2 seasons. At least no Cubs pitcher will no-hit us for those 2 seasons.
  24. Garza getting into it with the Home Plate Ump, getting nice and flustered.
