  1. Crap, Philip just not there so far. Need another DP here.
  2. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 04:30 PM) Darrin Jackson called for a DP and a pop up on the radio on 2 pitches. He's got the magic ball today. Come on DJ call for a 7 run inning.
  3. Booyeah! Nice recovery Philip!
  4. A 1-1 pitchout to the #2 hitter after all the times Hawk has said that the 3rd pitch is the most important of the at bat?
  5. Damn, another good opening at bat from Fukudome
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 04:21 PM) Heads posting=White Sox winner! Philip Humber pitching = the same?
  7. Another non-strikeout for Dunn. Every time he makes contact I think it's positive.
  8. Ha, 2 walks in a week for Morel!
  9. I HATE YOU FOX I HATE YOU FOX
  10. QUOTE (FlySox87 @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 03:50 PM) Maybe I should get in on this Direct TV thing. I have Time Warner and it sucks. It's expensive ($120 a month for high-speed internet and cable with DVR, HD channels, and all that special stuff), the customer service is crappy, the extra channels are mostly the same as the regular channels (I really don't see the difference) and I definitely don't get special sports packages. I just don't know how to get Direct TV in and TWC out smoothly. And what about my internet? Arrrggghhhhhhhhhhh. I don't know if it's still the case but DirecTV used to have a bundle with AT&T for internet. Of course, then you're stuck with AT&T. Which is a fate about as bad as death.
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 03:40 PM) Any hope to move Liriano? If they put him on waivers he'd be claimed. So yes, there's hope to move him. The question is all about price/return. If the Twins put Mauer on waivers right now, would the Yankees claim him?
  12. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 03:31 PM) That is true. I'm just saying overall for people that don't live in the Chicagoland area. It's most definitely worth it. Just pisses me off that I spend $200 a year on this package and Fox gets to ruin 5 or 6 of my saturdays a year by having the good matchup and then showing me some crappy 14-2 Mets win.
  13. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 03:25 PM) The Extra Innings package really is one of the great inventions in world history. Only about $25 a month. I blow more than that in a week on forties. Of course, Fox doesn't care today.
  14. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 03:23 PM) Chronic/Alcohol most definitely does the trick. When that runs out, play violent video games. That was going to be my suggestion as well
  15. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 02:32 PM) Nah, not enough liberal states. Massachusetts tornadoes, California got the tsunami, NYC has gay marriage.
  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 02:26 PM) I get plenty of real Mexican food in Chicago. There is very good pizza available in the Los Angeles area...but I wouldn't respond to anyone talking about Pizza by saying that the LA Area can hold up to the Windy City. Same deal.
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 02:27 PM) This is Chicago's revenge for everyone who leaves and laughs at us during the winter. We might suffer through the snow, but I never have to worry about seeing my Sox! Half the country being destroyed this year isn't good enough revenge for you?
  18. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 02:10 PM) Something about gourmet Mexican food seems like a complete waste. About a month of living in the L.A. area would change that tune, at least IMO.
  19. QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 01:58 PM) Great. I get the f***in' Yankees and Mets. Thanks once again Fox!! Everyone join me in the angry email to Fox. Last week I was polite. This week I tried to express outrage, without swearing so that hopefully they'd still read it.
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 02:20 PM) I don't get playing Dunn today against Garza and his good stuff. Better idea to play him tomorrow Quentin hasn't exactly lit it up the last week.
  21. QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 01:08 PM) His name is Philip Humber. MB will be back, and Sale will be starting. Edwin, he gawn. Danks is a likely trade candidate, IMO. If this team is "All In", then I think it's unlikely that D1 will be gone
  22. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 12:51 PM) It's blatantly obvious already how big of a mistake the Joe Mauer contract was. That contract was done on the assumption he'd keep putting up numbers like he did in 2009. Even without the injuries this year...the fact that he wasn't all there with the bats in Target field in 2010 made it look iffy.
