I don't remember what year it was exactly, 1999 or 2001. But the Tigers and White Sox fought twice in the game, Jim Parque was fighting off people at second base. Keith Foulke needed stitches in his head from the brawl and everyone got involved in it. It was all over Sportscenter for like a week just highlighting the fists being thrown. Close 2nd had to the Crosstown Fight because too many of times the fans were fighting it out in the stands. Finally the players beat some ass, Little Pods took down Barrett and BA went out swinging at Mabry. That is why Brian Anderson deserves to be with this team, he has their backs. Plus the Sox won that game.

I recently posted a message about how Jerry Owens had an attitude and was cocky. Later I wrote about the one time I met J.O. at ESPN Zone. Within the last few days I ran into Jerry at a spring game in Arizona, and stated how I met him at the VIP Sponors Private Party. He shook his to yes and engaged in a conversation with me. It may have just been a bad day for him, making it wrong for me to give him a bad rap. I apologize for being so judgmental towards a guy who I have met only twice.

Josh Fields deserves to play on this team right now, he is a class act guy with great potential. Jerry Owens has done nothing to make him an "absolute stand-out" this spring. Swisher in CF and Fields in LF, Jerry Owens needs an attitude adjustment in Triple A. Ozzie and Kenny are smart baseball minds, send that headcase to Char. to learn. This is like giving the catcher post. to Toby Hall, he has done nothing to prove he's the guy(granted he has yet to play in SPT). Owens is the same way.

Im looking for a jersey t-shirt of Nick Swisher...a White Sox one obviously. But no one seems to sell them, yet, and want one soon. Does anyone know if they already sell them and where?

I know there is a general list on whitesox.com, but 2-years ago I went and Bobby Jenks never showed up eventhough he was listed on the website. So who will be there this year for sure? Will the "Swish" be there?

Rangers sign Milton Bradley, the Dodgers sign Andruw Jones, and the Phillies have stated publicly they won't spend that kind of money for Rowand. So has the whole baseball world done us a favor by giving Rowand only one more option? I say A-Row is back in a White Sox uniform before christmas, so that the Sox fans can go out and buy up some jerseys for the holidays.
-
The Sox biggest focus was Torii Hunter this off-season, and he ended up in a Angels uniform. Next on the list was Rowand and so far no word from either parties. The next piece was Miguel Cabrera and now he is headed to the hated Tigers. Has Kenny really blown this off-season so far?

I was flipping through the sports talk radio shows this morning en route to school. I dont recall what station it was but I heard this piece that caught my ear. Jim Thome and Ben Wallace took a trip to visit with free agent CF Torii Hunter about playing in Chicago....Did anyone else hear this too?

I think that the recent trade of Jon Garland for Orlando Cabrera is a set-up for a bigger trade. Kenny Knows something we don't and I bet this trade is going to be better in the coming weeks.

The 2008 Batting Order and Line-up....odds of this happening? 2B- Marcus Giles LF- Miguel Cabrera DH- Jim Thome 1B- Paul Konerko RF- Jermaine Dye CF- Torii Hunter 3B- Josh Fields C- A.J. Pierzynski SS- Juan Uribe ADDRESSING THE MONEY ISSUE Trade Contreras, Garland, Podsednik, and Crede which will free up millions of dollars Sign Giles to a 1yr deal with a club option, and ask for Florida to pick up some of Miggy's contract Jerry isn't a poor owner the last time I checked. Just like when the Bulls dominated the 90s, Jerry shelled more money to them instead of the White Sox. It seems he is applying that technique to the White Sox since the World Series by spending, spending, spending. This line-up may cost millions of dollars but it will be made up 10 fold by national TV exposure and higher demand of ticket sales. (Just like the Boston Celtics have done by acquiring Garnett and Allen)

Glad to see this...always felt bad for the kid for how he was remembered -
If you haven't heard, Alfonso Soriano partially tore his quad last night during the Mets/Cubs game. Looks like he will be out for about a month. That time can and will hurt the Cubs who are now just another team. Now let's all sit back, relax, and strap it down to watch this normal Cubs collapse~!
