At what point does McCann get into the MVP conversation?! ?

That was an amazing double play

Nicky!

Great AB by Tilson working back from a huge hole

Another hit for McCann.

McCann is one of RH’s best recent acquisitions.

Yonder with his 294th groundout to second this season

I don’t believe what I just saw

Wow.

Yonder now sporting a .333 OPS in May. what on earth will it take for Ricky?

It made a lot of sense to me. Cordell isn’t in a great spot right against right hander and he might bounce into a DP or K. I would much rather take two shots with switch hitting Garcia and Moncada with the tying runs in scoring position

Castillo really spraying it to all infielders in this one - impressive

Renteria really might be a worse manager than Terry Bevington

Of course Delmonico struck out in a high leverage situation against a left handed pitcher. Of course he did

Why not PH rondon and move leury to OF? Why on earth let delmonico hit left left?

Hey guys imagine if Jerry Manuel insisted on batting Royce Clayton fourth throughout his abysmal slump of 2001 I guess there’s no need to imagine it since we are living in an identical hellverse right now

Alonso is such garbage this year

If Yonder, Yolmer, and Welington are acceptable OPS's for a major league lineup on an every day basis, you have to wonder why not just bring up Madrigal, Robert, and Collins now, let them take their lumps and let's see what we got. I know the answer people will respond with is "they're not ready yet" but I don't really understand why.

Alonso is .136/.211/.258/.469 in his last 17 games. That’s Royce Clayton/Adam Dunn territory.

Alonso batting fourth again. Why. serious question - does Ken Williams or Rick Hahn look at these lineups and wonder if their manager has a brain?

That was Castillo’s blind squirrel moment for the season

Perhaps the shift was invented for Yonder Alonso though. Can we just call it the Yonder? Might as well

Yonder gettin screwed by his BABIP doesn’t matter when teams know he hits it to exactly three locations on the right side of the infield 99% of the time it doesn’t matter how hard he hits them to him, Jason and Steve

Feel exactly the same way

The most astonishing thing is that the same brain that came up with this lineup for L-R bullshit reasons just went ahead and let a AAAA left handed batter face a left handed trickball pitcher with literally one of the hottest right handed batters in baseball on his fucking bench what a fucking lunatic
