Let's just say this. I don't want Thome batting in the 9th with or without a runner on base in a close (2-3 runs) game. I love having him bat at any other point, though.

Winning in the playoffs is all about momentum. The reason so many WC teams had won the WS is because they had a lot of momentum going into the playoffs since they had to fight through a tight race to get there. If that is what happens to us, then I'd be fine with it.

Is there a way to find out how many times we've loaded the bases and scored no runs (not even with no outs, just any time we've loaded the bases and got nothing to show for it)?
