QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 09:34 PM) That's just pathetic. Dye continues to jug out there, and our outfield defense kills us again. Like I said, Dye is only slightly above average at best as an RF.

QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 09:21 PM) The power.... I'm dead serious, it works. We were talking about Hogan when we went up 3-2. We stopped, and the rally died. I mentioned Hogan's name with 2 outs and a runner on 2nd for the Royals, next pitch is the final out of the inning. And just now, I mentioned his name again and Alomer singles in the insurance run.

Jermaine Dye's defensive abilities.
QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 08:57 PM) This might be the first time that milkman and I were called blindly-loyal, homer Sox fans. You beat me to the punch.

QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 09:04 PM) Nope, 3rd row seats for me at the event this year. That is nice. Time to show up your old team, Mac.

QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 09:03 PM) My greatest piece of wrestling memorabilia is a chair from WrestleMania this year. It really takes up a lot of useless room in my apartment. Ya steal it?

QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 08:59 PM) Then you should get the new 'Heroes of World Class' DVD, I've heard it's great. Didn't a lot of the Von Erick's kill themselves?

I've actually met Killer Kowalski. He lives and runs a school near where I go to school. He eats at this one Chinese restaurant a lot, he's a vegetarian. He's over 80, and I'm positive he could still tear my arms off.

QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 08:55 PM) Heh. Well, you almost had to laugh. They debuted him against the horseman, and he's got a storm trooper mask on. A glittery storm trooper mask, at that. And a leather vest.

QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 08:54 PM) I think I know who you're referring to. I can't wait for the September roster call-ups just to add a few pieces that can really help (more speed on bench, 3rd catcher, etc.). Please share? Gobbledygooker. Just had to say it.

QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 08:51 PM) Oh yes, any fan who hasn't has missed out on a 'classic' debut. That wasn't even a live segment, they aired it anyway. Couldn't help but feel just terrible for Tugboat. The heels were all giggling like little girls throughout the whole speech, too.

QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 08:49 PM) I'm listening to D-X music. The early 90's music was the best, because the wrestlers actually sang a lot of their own songs. Some are pure gold.

Have you guys ever heard the story of the Shockmaster? One of the most hilarious things I have ever seen or heard.

The reason we didn't score more is because we stopped discussing wrestling. Back to business.

QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 08:38 PM) Wrastlin'? I like me some wrestling. Kane was my favorite back in the pre-stupid days. Now hes just a tool without his mask. One of the best storylines was waiting for Undertaked to return to stop Kane from tearing through the WWF ranks.

QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 08:37 PM) I hate how Jim Ross always complains that the referees are screwing the good guys. It's like he thinks they're doing it on purpose. OH MY GOD!! THE AUDACITY!
