QUOTE(Spod=Ratings @ Jun 11, 2005 -> 11:17 PM) thats Matt Lecroy That's true, he's much fatter. Either way, at least it was aggressive base-running. Let's get this game over.

Don't complain, PK. If you weren't the fattest, slowest piece of s*** on the bases, you'd have been in there easy.

Man, I really hope Ozzie isn't planning on bringing Vizcaino in for the 9th. I mean, I really, really hope he doesn't.

We fail to play smallball yet again. God damn it.

OMG, this is some weak ass s***. Buehrle and Pods go down like cheap hookers.
-
Sox @ Padres 6/11 Official Game Thread
Great, now they're hitting Buehrle hard.

I can't believe how predictable this offense is. Throw a rookie pitcher, a s***ty pitcher, or a s***ty rookie pitcher at us, and they'll be awful.

Wow, Pauly had that little two week stretch where he didn't suck...but now he's definitely back to his sucky ways.

Scary inning again. Get some runs, Sox...for the love of God.

The s***fest continues. I started typing this when Rowand went down 0-2 because I already knew the at-bat was over. This is sad, really.

Are they even trying? Are they even f***ing trying?!

Let's score some runs this inning, Sox!

Sox @ Padres 6/11 Official Game Thread
Another bad inning, and Stauffer was able to look for the ball for 3 minutes before finding it and throwing out AJ with plenty of time.

Buehrle deserves a GG. Who was the GG for pitchers in the AL last year? Well, the next 5 Sox hitters will be attempting to pull every pitch in a close game where the pitcher has looked great...book it.

Holy s***, MB better throw a CG SO if he expects to win this game.

Sox @ Padres 6/11 Official Game Thread
Uh, shouldn't Iguchi have gone to 2nd there? WTF?

Sox @ Padres 6/11 Official Game Thread
Phew, that was a nerve-wracking inning. And Dye really looks like he's running in knee-high sand out there.

Sox @ Padres 6/11 Official Game Thread
Wow, what a truly disgraceful inning. Looks like another AAA pitcher well on his way to making us look like a little league team. We better score some runs and soon, because this guy looks like he's in a groove already.

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 11, 2005 -> 09:15 PM) I'm glad our biggest RBI hitters can score a guy from 2nd with no outs. Leaving a guy at 2nd with no outs is the perfect way to put some pitcher into a groove. I hope we jump on this guy early.

QUOTE(gettysburg32 @ Jun 11, 2005 -> 08:49 PM) If the Sox win tonight, which Sunday option would be more horrifying? Frank at 1B or Timo at 1B? :puke Frank at 1B. I'm willing to lose a game if it means Frank won't get hurt. Tomorrow is the last game in an NL park, no need to risk it at all. As bad as Timo is, I'd rather see him there.

Spyware/Adware Problems
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jun 11, 2005 -> 08:09 PM) I've used ad-aware in the past, but I've noticed that BETA in fact picks up more spyware than ad-aware does and I like the auto scan feature which I utilize at 2:30 am each day. I read this thread because I was bored and decided to download that thing. It's great, I already like it. Thanks for sharing

What I loved about last nite game
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jun 11, 2005 -> 06:10 PM) I never want to be compared to Boston. We are playing our own brand of baseball, much different than any other team. Sure we may look sharp and hungry like Boston, but we're a lot different than that team. A veteran based ballclub who went out and bought a World Series with Curt Schilling. This Sox team, with homegrown talent like Buehrle and Rowand, combined with Garland, Garcia, Count and a solid vet in the Duke round out a solid rotation. Not sexy, but solid indeed. A mix of speed, Harris, Pods, Ozuna, with solid veteran leadership, Konerko, Dye, Everett, Thomas and solid defense Uribe, Crede. And how could you forget one of our huge keys in AJ. Essentially, the Red Sox bought a World Series, just like the Yankees. Foulke? Bought. Cabrera? Bought. Ramirez? Bought. Schilling? Bought. Ortiz? Bought. The list goes on. They had one homegrown player, who rarely played last year in Trot Nixon. I'd like to think if this Sox team won, they won based on smart decisions by KW in acquiring talent via trades, smart free agent signings and an agressive style from Ozzie. And may I add this... :fyou Red Sox You're lucky you don't have to live with those people. For all their "evil empire" bs talk, you'd think they had a 20 million dollar payroll and earned that championship. I agree. :fyou , Red Sox

still doubt timo in the utility role, haters?
QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jun 11, 2005 -> 03:28 PM) There's one position he plays exceedingly well. I'll just leave that one to your warped imaginations. After hearing that so many players read this site, I really hope that Timo doesn't. As much as I don't like him, I don't want the guy to kill himself after seeing all of this.
