  1. Sorry about that. My grandma (dad) and my grandpa (mom) died in the same school year. It was very sad for me. He was a huge Penn State fan. He would be really happy with the team this season.
  2. QUOTE(SnB @ Nov 26, 2005 -> 07:04 PM) how many more years till a Viagra Bowl or Cialis Bowl? than when it becomes a BCS Bowl and Texas gets to it we will see an Advertisment of Vince Young poping down some Viagra.
  3. QUOTE(timotime @ Nov 28, 2005 -> 02:18 PM) what are you talking about? you seriously want everett in CF?? are you blackout drunk right now?? his mobility is so limited, the balls he missed were not errors because he didnt try for them. just like honus wagner supposedly never used to move to get ground balls so that he wouldnt have any errors. oh, and also WE DIDNT WIN THE WORLD SERIES IN 2003 no i never said i wanted him in Center Field but it wouldn't be the worse thing.
  4. Congrats. Are you gonna name the baby after any Sox Player? I think Buehrle is a good one.
  5. Yeah and I am sure we will get 55 Minutes of Yankees-Red Sox-Cubs talk before the game.
  6. KW Has kidney stones today. Get Well. Hahn is doing the intro.
  7. QUOTE(SnB @ Nov 28, 2005 -> 01:01 PM) um...................??????? why is this on soxtalk? that is what was on. Now it switched to the Thome Conference.
  8. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Nov 28, 2005 -> 12:47 PM) My guess is it will be posted in its entirety on Whitesox.com. You'll probably see the media link on the page shortly after the conference. And, if I'm not mistaken, MLB.com offers some live coverage of it. oh man I might want to preorder my Thome jersey from Triple Threat Sports.
  9. QUOTE(YASNY @ Nov 28, 2005 -> 12:42 PM) No. He sucked in CF in 2003. what team were you watching. He didn't make an error when he was with the Sox and he made a couple game saving catches if i remember.
  10. QUOTE(SEALgep @ Nov 27, 2005 -> 10:39 AM) Actually, he sucks at turning DP's. and he doesn't want to be a bench player. He would ask for a trade.
  11. QUOTE(elrockinMT @ Nov 26, 2005 -> 10:34 PM) I think Carl Everett the person is a great guy. He is a veteran player that brings a lot to a team, but he is not up to the challenge of being an everyday CF. You need speed out there and good defensive ability. Carl doesn't have that anymore. what about signing him to come off the bench. I still think he can be a solid ML Player if used in the right role.
  12. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Nov 25, 2005 -> 10:06 PM) Carl Everett in center field? Dear God. :puke he did well in 2003 in Center Field.
  13. I think Amy Lee of Evanescence has the best voice of any female singers.
  14. QUOTE(LDF @ Nov 26, 2005 -> 05:06 PM) would boy george or elton john count
  15. QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Nov 27, 2005 -> 12:49 PM) Welcome to the Jungle - Guns N F'n Roses no i am talking about the song played during the intro of the show.
  16. QUOTE(sayitaintso @ Nov 26, 2005 -> 11:16 PM) I understand the reasoning of your question, but with the arm he has i wouldn't be surprised if he could pitch. just wouldn't be to accurate.
  17. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Nov 26, 2005 -> 08:45 PM) Id think Rich Hill and Angel Guzman would have to be part of the deal for the Rangers to consider it and I dont know why they would want Walker or Cedeno unless they plan to trade them right away for more pitching prospects. But if the Cubs can do that I think they will be a very good team.... maybe even better than us. here is my question. Can Rafael Furcal pitch? Can he play Center Field? He won't help them that much if they don't do something about those Question marks.
  18. Tad also uses the theme song from the Jim Rome Show. What song is that?
  19. QUOTE(ottawa_sox @ Nov 25, 2005 -> 10:40 PM) Sounds like something out of 'Silence of the Lambs'. guess what you win?
  20. 21. was the woman sort of husky. "You know a large girl, roomy through the hips." Whoever tells me the movie in which that quote was from you will gain something very cool.
  22. Plus we all saw how interesting Howry makes it even when he is healthy. He had serious control problems when he was with the Sox.
