I think he is. In fact before tonights game he wasn't having a terrible 2nd half.

Guys Mark Buehrle is currently the ERA leader in the AL. He is an inning eater. HE IS AN ACE. He is just going through a rough stretch. He is still the best pitcher in this city. My god. Two months ago he was the best pitcher in basebal. He is having a career year. Let's settle down and relax. He had a bad game. He is struggling right now. Santana was terrible earlier this season. Is he still an ace? Hell yes. In fact last season can anyone tell me who the Sox beat in that game that they won 17-7?

Guys take a step back from the ledge. Buehrle is still an ace and he is still one of the best in the game. He had a bad outing however he shut down a good tiger lineup on saturday. Also i think that balk call got to him. They weren't hitting him hard either.

To people who are blaming Marte for this he is partly responsible however it's also the managers responsibility to put your players in the best possible chance to succed. And by putting Marte in either the 9th inning or against lefties he isn't doing that.
