  1. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 10:27 PM) Cabrera absolutely smoked that ball. Anyways, good luck Shingo I really want you to succeed. Cabrera is a stud. He is awesome.
  2. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Sep 7, 2005 -> 09:31 AM) He was the best receiver in michigan history, get over the few plays you saw when he was young. blurb: He became the first player in Big Ten history, and ninth nationally, with 1,000-plus receiving yards in three straight seasons. Edwards holds U-M career records in receptions (242), receiving yards (3,432) and 100-yard games (16). He is one touchdown catch shy of tying Carter's U-M career mark of 37.(before the rose bowl) This year, Edwards also set school single-season records for catches and receiving yards. im not saying Edwards suck. He is very good and will over time be a good NFL Reciever. These were last year. These mistakes. And they weren't just dropped balls but stupid fumbles and bonehead plays.
  3. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 09:50 PM) Seriously? Lay off the crack. Edwards was the best receiver in Michigan history. And one of the most productive in big ten history. There is no comparison on their roster now, and wont be for awhile. Avant hasnt proven a damn thing, and hasnt done anything yet. Michigan is, as usual, overrated. no he wasn't. He is extremely talented and was a class act however he made bonehead plays that cost Michigan the Notre Dame game, almost cost them the MSU game, could've cost them the Gophers game, and dropped a pass that was right to him on a 4th and 2 against OSU that who knows what could've happened. Trust me you didn't see the real Braylon Edwards last year.
  4. QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 10:00 PM) Shingo has been called up by the Mets and as pitched 2.1 scoreless innings so far, although he has been credited with a blown save, in the 7th inning. ANyway Good Luck to Shingo, he never made excuses, only blamed himself, a ture professional!!! and i saw the replay of that ball and Floyd should've caught it. It was right to him.
  5. Michigan will look damn good kicking Notre Dames asses all over the place.
  6. QUOTE(Fotop @ Sep 5, 2005 -> 11:12 AM) I agree Avant is a threat...but he's still no Edwards. With our secondary though, any above average receiver looks good. However, is he better than Greg Lee (Pitt)? I don't think so, and Greg Lee was somewhat quiet after the first quarter against us. The reason I'm most worried about Massaqoui and Breaston is because they've done it to us in the past and they've got lots of talent (especially Breaston). They also present some mismatches, and I know Carr will probably try to exploit them. I really hope we kick away from Breaston...I'm not sure our special teams can handle him. Needless to say, I'm extremely excited for this game. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain...and if we somehow pull this one out, our first home game will be a madhouse the week after against MSU. I'd love to see that again...it's been a few years. no but Avant is more consistent. Braylon Edwards made some spectacular catches yet he also dropped easy passes and made bonehead plays that either cost them the game or almost did. Avant doesn't do that s***. Avant would be a good pick for the Bears next year.
  7. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 07:50 PM) Too bad the stadium doesn't. ....These are the kind of games where a solid season ticket base helps. it's against the royals. The weekend series against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in Orange County in Southern California right Near Irvine will be in the 30,000 range.
  8. Sox have now officially passed the 2 Million mark.
  9. QUOTE(VAfan @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 07:32 PM) That's what the Sox should do the rest of September after tonight. It gives the Sox a better look at McCarthy in advance of next year, and it both rests El Duque and gives him a chance to adapt to the bullpen where he's certainly going to go for the postseason the way Contreras has been pitching. uh take a look at El Duque's record in the playoffs. It's outstanding. Im sorry, I love what Contreras has done all year to, however El Duque will be in the starting rotation for the playoffs.

  21. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Sep 5, 2005 -> 05:59 PM) Texans and Ravens, eh? Ravens got Mark Clayton and Derick Mason who will really improve their recieving core. We all know how good their D is and Jamal Lewis looks like he will be Jamal again. Also i like the Texans. I think Carr will take the next step.

  23. QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Sep 5, 2005 -> 02:36 PM) Heads: Girls Gone Wild does not count as a movie. yes however it is quality that is for sure. Actually you can watch all these Girls Gone Wild episodes and infomercials on A&E after 2:00 AM.
  24. QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Sep 5, 2005 -> 02:09 PM) Is it supposed to be funny? From the previews it looked serious. it's an action movie so there is probably some funny parts to it. Usually those movies are supposed to have very silly plots.
