  1. QUOTE(He_Gawn @ Aug 18, 2005 -> 05:07 PM) ^ yea she is hot. and she is smart. Yale grad i believe.
  2. Jordana Brewster: Always thought she was hot after i saw Fast n Furious.
  3. Minnesota is not done. They will be a contender in the wild card race for one reason: Johan Santana. If he pitches like he has the last 2 times out and he is fully capable of doing this than he is the kind of pitcher who can carry a staff. Just look at last year. I think this Minnesota team is dangerous to make a run at the playoffs. Plus this series could do to them what the Astros series against the Cubs did to the Astros. Not getting past the Sox however making a serious push towards the Wild Card.
  4. QUOTE(Whitesoxfan56 @ Aug 18, 2005 -> 10:59 AM) THats not that good, but in compairisent here are our starters WHIP during the last 30 days: Garcia: 1.53 2-2 4.40 ERA Buehrle: 1.55 2-3 4.89 ERA Garland: 1.42 2-2 4.45 ERA El Duque: 1.09 WHIP 1-3 3.86 ERA Cont.: 1.42 2-2 5.00 ERA Yea mark has not been mark the last month but niether has garcia or garland for that matter Duque has really stepped it up though.
  5. I'm sticking with Buehrle. He can have a hot streak and he still has a shot at 20 games.
  6. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 18, 2005 -> 12:02 AM) He can't play a TON of positions. He can play some OF and some 1B, that is all. The question is, is he a big enough upgrade over Everett to pay the amount for him that the Mariners would be asking for. They got Bazardo from the Marlins for Villone, that was way too much for a journeyman lefty reliever like Villone and at the same time they asked for McCarthy from the Sox for Villone, which is total horses***. Their price for a guy like Ibanez could be too ridiculous. There are a few GMs this trade deadline that have proven to be delusional and disconnected from the game. Ibanez could be a nice pickup for this club but the price could be too outrageous for a player like him. his numbers are pretty damn good. He isn't bad defensively either though not good either. His numbers are: AVG .293 | HR 15 | RBI 68 in a pitchers park.
  7. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Aug 18, 2005 -> 12:02 AM) If i had to bet my life on one guy, i'd bet him. He has used em, just look at the guy, i've always suspected he was on roids. Can't make a call on the AL guy though what could have something to do with it though was that he plays in a HUGE park. That is taking his HR totals down. His BA was always very good.
  8. I just traded Warrick Dunn for Dominick Davis. I really really like Davis and i think he has the potential to lead the league in rushing this year. Dunn splits time with T.J. Duckett and that season he put up just seems really flukish.
  9. This might be the guy the sox need to get. He can hit for a good average and he can hit for some power. He is a left handed bat who can fit into the lineup anywhere and he can play a ton of positions like all outfield positions and 1st Base.
  10. QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 11:15 PM) yeah, before tonights games Astros were a game up in the WC good point. Brian Giles maybe?
  11. Don't think it's Clemens because he gave a hint that really limits this thing to five or six teams. He said that this team would be assured of a playoff birth if the season ended today.
  12. relax. Brad Radke and the guy pitching tonight are pretty good pitchers.
  13. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 10:35 PM) No she actually has a black part of her top that goes over her right breast but you can't see it because of the dark background. yeah you can barely make it out however she does have that.
  14. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 10:11 PM) That Tigers game in extra innings, where Polanco left like 40 guys on base. yeah both Shingo and Juan bailed him out of 2 situations with RISP.
  15. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 10:08 PM) I meant tomorrow night against santana :puke
  16. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 10:05 PM) Marte with Pittsburgh. You are correct sir. Your prize is waiting for you.
  17. QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 08:53 PM) The Oakland A's unvailed there plans for a new ball park the other day. i didnt see this posted anywhere else yet. So here ya go! http://www.ballparksofbaseball.com/future/A%27sBallpark.htm Please note, the "tower" in left center field is a condo complex with a pool on the roof. that is such a copy off of Petco Park. Looks good though and is certainly better than the s***hole where they play now.
  18. Ozzie learned this from a game when he played for the Braves against the Reds (i believe). Andruw Jones didn't hustle towards a ball that was hit to the left of him. Right after that Bobby Cox pulled Andruw from the game and told him that if this was the best he could do than he would sit his ass on the bench for the rest of the season. Andruw was sorry and told that to Bobby and his teamates.
  19. IMHO Pierce Brosnan has been one of the best Bonds. I hope stays.
  20. QUOTE(POTUSChris @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 07:41 PM) You really don't know what you're talking about. You're mixing up the movies and books. I've read book 6, and that was a HUGE spoiler that he posted and personally I think your post should be edited. he originally said Book 4.
  21. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 09:16 AM) I just saw it (the unedited version). What a steaming pile of dog s*** this movie was. Good God. :headshake :headshake
  22. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 10:31 PM) I'll edit it. EDIT: I took out all mentionings of the spoiler for you guys. why? He is not ruining anything because that is not the ending. Somebody dies but Snape doesn't kill anybody and if you have seen the trailer it is obvious that Dumbledore doesn't die. Plus in the movie credits for the 5th one it credits the guy who plays Dumbledore.
