I read Catcher in the Rye. Great book. It is a great Dark Comedy.

QUOTE(ilsox7 @ Aug 11, 2005 -> 04:10 AM) Thanks...I just cannot emphasize it enough about studying abroad. I spent 4 months in Maastricht, Netherlands. It's at the very Southern tip of the country...a 10 minute walk to Belgium and a 45 minute bus ride to Germany. I don't speak any other languages. It was a major "risk" on my part b/c it's something I never would have thought I could do. But seeing 14 or 15 countries, gettign caught in train stations, trying to make your way to the Netherlands while stuck in Prague...stuff like that creates a lifetie of memories. And it also is damn good material for interviews. I cannot tell you how many times in interviews, when asked about a time I had to overcome adversity or some other question, I whipped out a Europe story. They go over much better than your run of the mill group project in a class stories and many times the itnerviewer has also been to Europe and you spend a half hour talking about your favorite cities. No lie but that scenario happened multiple times with me. I am even considering spending next summer in Europe for law school, but there are some major cons to doing that. But I cannot get enough of that continent...even worked there for a short time. Run, don't walk to your study abroad info sessions at college! how tough was it to learn the languages. Also how many people spoke English their.

I am seriously considering going to Iowa State. They sent me a letter and i talked to some people from their and i actually toured the campus. It's a great campus.

I saw a very good movie last night called Intermission with Colin Farrell and Cillian Murphy. Very Dark Comedy and it's basiclly about 8 people who have these violent random events that all intersect with each other.

I still say the twins catch the A's. They have always been a september team. I just don't believe in Oakland.

QUOTE(3 BeWareTheNewSox 5 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 11:05 PM) The ESPNEWS ticker was just saying he did sign now (around 10 pm) but it's gone now I know it's not really hold out since there's no contract in the first place, but you haven't proven crap, and now you're not even going to be starting, get in camp! I wanted Mike Williams do you think they could've signed him quicker.

We are just gonna have to wait until Ronnie Brown signs.

Not sure if it was said already however Levine said that Griffey would accept a trade to the Sox. he interviewd him today. It will play in it's entirety on sunday. Griffey said he loves chicago. Although his first choice is to stay in cincy.

Out of respect you have to start Buehrle first. he has the best ERA in the rotation and for what he's done for the sox.

Buehrle Garcia Garland El Duque

Than why not give Jenks a shot? he at least is not a mental midget like Marte. He said that he was gonna use him in pressure situations so use him.

I love Farmer however maybe they could put him in the TV Booth and put Stoney on the radio considering he does work for the Score. It would be perfect because he is a former Sox pitcher. -
Is anyone else getting really sick of Bryan Dolgin. All he is is a company man. Wilsy was honest and wouldn't suggarcoat anything. Dolgin is always kissing the Sox asses. For example teh game that Buehrle got thrown out the first thing dolgin said was how the umpires don't respect the sox. I'm sorry but how 2 umps act doesn't mean that the umps are out to get the sox. Almost all of the umps have been fair. He was also blaming the umps for last night.
