I have never seen such a turn around of the attitude towards a manager, but I have to partially agree, in teh sense I'm not losing my mind. I do wonder why he's doing things lately, though. Marte in a 1 run situation? That was the only thing I was nervous about, but I think it was enough. Well, that and Vizcaino, but HE didn't f*** everything up. I just really hope Ozzie can figure his s*** out a bit better.

I understand a loss is a loss, but you have to give credit where it's due. FOR a team that's "played like s***," we did well against the hottest team up right now. Not to mention a team whom the Sox have had trouble with(except for earlier this year, WHEN the Sox played much better). Think about it.

I understand we had a tough loss last night, but what is all this crap about "they are done?" What is this crap, yes CRAP, about "they played terrible last night." LMAO. I saw a few too many walks, but other than that, I saw a stellar performance. Ozzie took the risk with Marte and this time it didn't pay off. That doesn't mean we played "poorly." Quite frankly, when you take into account the fact we took on the hottest team in baseball now, or so it seems, we didn't quite experience the "massacre" some people were expecting. Based on how GOOD we actually played yesterday, I have good feelings about the rest of the series.

There we go! Some optomism! Hey, I look and I see good things. The Sox just took 2 from Minnesota after scoring only 4 runs in the series. Good baseball. We've own Cleveland this year. Winning the division SHOULD be easy(knock on wood).

Well I am a fan. I know a lot about baseball, but not enough to make me a critic on player performances. But in what I've seen from Pods, I've seen amazing plays, few errors, and obviously great speed. As far as him not getting good jumps on balls, maybe I'm missing that. The only time I can really recall that happening was last night.

Well we talk about his errors. He hasn't made many. And I see so many Aaron-esque catches from him that I'm impressd. Jeez, everything has to be perfect with some people.

El Duque vs. Santana? I agree, how comforting I really think B Mac shold take over El Duque's spot. How much does he have to sck for Ozzie to do soemthing about it?

Well his "rep" obviously doesn't tell the truth. I've seen a great defensive player. Not as good as Aaron, but very solid. Man makes one or two errors and everyone jumps on him. Show me a great defensive player who has a history of NO errors and I'll show you a lie.

Ok perhaps I said that wrong. My point is, just becuase of their PAST, we the fans always expect the worst. Things can change at any time. As I said, remember what the Yanks have done in the past. Like I said, at this point, why worry about the Indians? We've OWNED them thi year, and may I say, that's something we haven't done much in the past, and that tells you soemthing, whether we still make mistakes, we are a much better team this year than many before.

Guys, I realize we didn't play our best last night, and yes I was pissed too, but realize that doesn't mean anything. We bounced back for a bad losing streak and everything else. It's not like we never lose to the Royals at all. Even teh worst team in baseball wins sometimes. Just look at how the Yanks always get pwned by Tampa Bay! You have to lose some. Don't get in this depressive mode abut "we aren't going to make it" just becuase we played 1 bad game. We still are the bestteam in the AL and I still dont see a problem with the division title(knock on wood). The Indians may be winning a lot, but keep in mind we've OWNED them this year. Don't get dragged into that same old crap. Just remember what the Yanks have done and realize anything can happen. Don't think otherwise just becuase of the way the Sox have been in the past. Things change. Keep the positivity. Otherwise, how do we expect the Sox to?
