good stuff. it reminds me of another funny story that I heard where a guy was watching 300 and he yells at some girls down the isle to quit talking. One of the girls then comes walking up the isle yelling at him but he meets her half way and kicks her down the isle and yells I AM SPARTA!

I was a little happy after watching the bears game yesterday, knowing that we wouldn't be able to embarass ourselves in the playoffs. The Bears this year were terrible. Many fans I hang out with are confused because of our improved offense this year, but it is still not great, and the defense has seriously regressed. There need to be some serious changes. Urlacher needs to get that back fixed or sac up and start playin some real football, Mike Brown needs to be released, and I'm not sure I want to get rid of Lovie but I sure am tired of seeing his perpetual blank stare on to the football field. Or is it just me?

Are there any articles confronting paulie on his s*** streak, asking him when he is going to pull his head out of his ass and how? I'd like to see him come back to his old ways of domination.

Who's our 1st baseman after this? Let's keep wilson betemeit off the field. I would trade konerko for Fred Lewis straight up if lewis plays a good center, but I'm not sure what his reputation is there. Post Script.. How many total "Trade Konerko" threads have there been on soxtalk?

Joey Gathright is one of my favorite players of all time when he is making the league minimum. I think Jenks might get a little pissed if he comes here though.

Alexei needs some serious practice at Shortstop, considering how good I think he could be at it. But right now, he would only be average. Oz will take care of that. Either way though, he is really our best option at SS.

I think you are right on Hanley, although he is high quality player and I'm sure some of it was natural development. However, I think Alexei is gonna need more time if youwant to see him develop a good eye. I don't think he has as much power as hanley. He likes to swing, and he takes some embarassing cuts. Not to quote hawk, but he can look awful on one pitch and then turn around and look like an allstar.

I'm goin to hell but I'll have to pull the trigger as well on that trade. Does TCQ forgive sinners like us?
