  1. Can anybody reference any success stories with this much rotation? benching thome and konerko options with rotating in anderson seems strange. Thome and konerko are premier players who are tough to bench for an organization. Also seems hard for someone to get hot and stay hot with that much rotation. I wanna see everyone play just as much as the next, but I think finding a good lineup and stickin with it is the way to go. Ozzie rotates in enough already.
  2. good topic, good post. Such a tough decision for me though since i hate Brian anderson. There's just not a lot of room out there. Someones gotta step up, whoever it is.
  3. we would look like complete tools with fields at second base, he can hardly play third. However, I'm totally down for that idea just so i can see fields drop some bombs.
  4. write me down for hardcore, i ain't joinin the new jack's group just yet
  5. stay hot quentin
  6. QUOTE (rangercal @ Apr 22, 2008 -> 07:06 PM) I asume you picked it up from this excerpt: It speaks of Cabrera's father, not Cabrera himself. sometimes you just hear what you want to hear i guess. or read
  7. Good article, definitely something to look for throughout the year. also good to know that cabrera is a hardcore partier and avid womanizer i guess.

QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 22, 2008 -> 04:36 AM) yep. He's kinda like a Jay Mariotti, except with more love for the sox and this was supposed to be in reply to someone saying that he gets terrible responses but keeps writing...
  9. I'm not sure, but i think historically, May has been Paulie's worst month for hitting. So we'll see how long his 171 avg will hold off from "killing" our team. I don't think hes killing our team, but weakly hit ground balls to the short stop drive me insane, and my mental state is much more important.
  10. ARamRod eats iguchi for breakfast
  11. i don't know if he should be traded, but he at least deserves to get his ass kicked or something. What the LKFDJ is with his horrible at bats. I think ozzie should throw him under the bus if he doesn't produce soon, see how he reacts to that. Also maybe if he just left his batting gloves alone and not readjust them a thousand times every at bat he could save his strengh. I love you pauly.
  12. billy koch did it without the velocity
  13. QUOTE (max power @ Apr 19, 2008 -> 09:50 PM) He hit 95 on wednesday night(I think) for a K. Either Hawk or DJ made a point of mentioning it. Can't remember who against. Either millar or markakfais. thats good to know, i must have missed that one while i was watching the damn cardinals game down in southern illinois.
  14. hes gonna need to turn up the heat a little if hes only throwin the fastball and the curve. I like the cutter alot but i just don't want to see him try to become a finesse pitcher. Rick Vaughn style. However, if he can throw 4 pitches with location and the fastball is hitting 95, i could care less. I just haven't seen the fastball go above 93, and i've seen comcast exaggerate the speed before, so it could be 90
  15. one of my favorite players of all time, but i gotta go with a big no. sick left handed bat, right side not so much

  17. Stick with the terminator danks, and not so much the out of stater, otherwise you may become a spectator
  18. Phil Cuzzi is a big meany
  19. it was 2008, i think april, and jose contreras was scheduled to go up against some no name cuban with the twinkies, and I was going to sit down and enjoy joe crede hitting for the cycle and alexei ramirez constantly running around the bases. and then bam, storm, game post poned. Ever since i haven't been the same.
  20. I think i'm more pissed over this postponed game than danks pukefest last night. no, definitely not, but i am pissed. post script.. at least ididn't have to watch jose pitch, hes done
  21. we definitely don't need gload, however a good man no doubt. We suck
  22. I don't see how the tigers can keep this up, but they do have injuries and they could have more. And alex gordon and billy butler are raking with bannister dealing...who can say what will happen in the crazy AL central
