  1. QUOTE(knightni @ Sep 4, 2005 -> 06:08 PM) Took a tad.. longer. Maybe 1/2 hr to get the look right. Nice work, it was worth it.
  2. Here you go. I couldn't find a pic of Bollard that worked but I'm still working on it. If I manage to get one I'll edit this and re post it. I hope you like it.
  3. Not over here, you've got to be 17 to drive and with our car prices, unless Daddy's minted there is no way you could afford one at 17.
  4. Late Saturday afternoons toward the end of the month are always good times to buy anything over here in England. If the salesman is struggling for target he'll normaly give and equaly if he's already made target he won't fight you as hard...........being a salesman myself (who's in the process of being head hunted WA-HEY!) these things I know.
  5. I'm looking for sig pics of Jeff Baj, Brandon McCarthy, Neal Cotts, and Jim Bullard can anyone help?
  6. I'm trying to wotk out what time the game starts today ( my time) and for some reason I can't get my head around the time difference today. How long until the game starts?
  7. QUOTE(rangercal @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 08:48 PM) deploderer is an artist I tell you! Aw shucks( scuffs foot on the ground).
  8. I'd be happy to do it. Might take me a while though. Let me know if you can wait a while ( no more than a week).
  9. QUOTE(Texsox @ Aug 27, 2005 -> 01:33 AM) Hey DeP, when you get a chance, could you explain cricket to me. Maybe start a thread over in the sports bar. I need a team to cheer for also. Jeeze, how to explain the rules of Cricket....I tried that once with my American brother in law and gave up. Try here Cricket rules and stuff they'll do it better than me. You need to understand that the major teams are not "town/city" based like most sports, but "county"(similar to your states) based. So my local team is Yorkshire. Sussex are winning the county championship at the moment. I don't realy follow county cricket but I do like to watch international test matches the game lasts 4 days by the way) and as I'm sure your all aware England are currently SPANKING Austrailia! Sorry DBAH0. BTW my inlaws were shocked when I gave them a cricket ball. They hadn't realised how much bigger and harder it was than a baseball; when you realize that the record speed for a bowled ball is just over 100mph it's not something you would want to get infront of. Unlike baseball, hitting a batter is not something to be avoided, it is part of the game! And as for playing in the position of "silly mid off" well you have no chance of getting me there.
  10. At least you fellas can talk to your mates about the Sox. Mine just shake their heads and look on me as an oddity. I miss most games on MLBtv because of the time difference. Most mornings I'm rushing to print of reports from the Herald and Times to read at work while they can read the back pages of the newspapers to follow the football or Rugby.
  11. font aside, i like the sig. good idea to use the flag.
  12. I started one a while back, but as it was a vector (which can take ages) I havn't touched it for ages. The main problem was getting decent pictures, the clenched fist one aside.
  13. Has anyone got any large close up pics of Ossie?
  14. Here you go, hope you like it.
  15. QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ Aug 22, 2005 -> 08:37 PM) Love the wallpapers Mr. Deploder! Any chance that you can make an Ozzie paper? Hell, I'll take an Ozzie sig as well. It would be much appreciated. I'll buy you a beer next time I'm in the UK. No problem. Give me a while and I'll get around to it. I have a few other requests on the go, remind me if I forget.
  16. Nice attempt, your starting to think about the layout. The effect on the main pic is too strong for me, maybe overlay it on the origional. But will someone please tell me why I get so few comments on my walls, my ego is as big as the next guys. I get loads of views but so few comments, if you like them, hate them or not care either way; if you take a look please let me know that your all interested in me doing more. Rant over. SoxFan1 I find not messing too much with the main image, except maybe boosting the colour a bit, seems to work better. Revert to the first image ( cut out looks good) and just turn the brightness down a bit (use hue/saturation) tidy up where logo goes into hand and fade texture a bit and you'll have an OK wallpaper.
  17. Fianly I can exhale. Now if Jnr can win I'll sleep happy.
  18. Having got Timo out of the way, here's Tad. One of my best IMO, what do you think? (Image is a little fuzzy at hosting site but looks good when on desktop.) For those who use a 1280x1024 screen here's a better version;
  19. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Aug 19, 2005 -> 07:49 PM) I also got my cleats in today....whoot whoot! Don't call them that if you come over here will you, they're called studs.
  20. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Aug 19, 2005 -> 11:53 PM) Solution....learn to be a good goalie. I'm still carrying the scars of a pick up game against kids while on holiday. I was never any good at scool, couldn't run and kick at the same time! Rugby was my game. I used to play on the wing becaude I was fast. Running marathons (slowly) is my only sporting outlet these days.

    QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Aug 19, 2005 -> 03:33 PM) rats, my dirty secret is out! Actually I'm an unabashed fan of pale ale, which is the blanket term for all traditional UK bitter and such as well as their quality counterparts produced elsewhere. Some UK beer snobs will use the designation only for bottle conditioned products and call cask conditioned versions bitter, but historically that dichotomy is in err. Apparently I am not a beer snob, merely a beer geek. Now, if you had called me a pisswater megabrew fan, there'd be some What a crock. You know not what you speak of.
  22. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 19, 2005 -> 08:00 PM) Dude, that is f***ing awesome. It's my new wallpaper. Glad you like it.
