How do you get a page on google, FAST? And on the front page, better yet?

 

I need http://www.stormice.com to the top of google, when you type in the words storm ice hockey or storm ice academy

You need to have your site listed with Google (submit the URL on a form on their site), have relevant and subject-incliusive metadata, and it helps to have a bunch of other rated sites link to yours because that is taken into account in Googles ranking algorithms.

 

 

Google uses several techniques to calculate a ranking number for a page. The page content and metadata counts, as well as emphasises inside text, such as headings and bolded text, but Google takes other pages refering to the page into account, too. If a page that has high ranking points to your page, your page will get some share of the ranking points as well.

 

High ranking pages are, of course, pages that have good content and refering pages with high ranking. And these are the pages that you should be most interested in. The philosophy in Google is that good pages tend to refer to other good pages.

 

Unfortunately there is no short way to success having somebody to link to your site. You have to get your pages to be thought as an established site that offers some additional value for the visitors of another sites. When you think that you have something to offer for some site, ask that if they could link to you. Make sure that you have already linked to them.

For example soxtalk is highly rated on google so post the link on there.

At it's fastest it's going to take a few days.

 

The only way to get it on top quicker is to pay, and that still make take a day or so.

Google automatically gets pinged when a Blogger.com blog is updated because they own it. That makes spamming Blogger the quickest way to get something indexed by Google.

You know, if you all can put this link in your blog with "Storm Ice Hockey" that would be GREAT. (shameless self promotion).

Well, if you type in StormIce on the google search, now the website comes up on the first page. Thats a nice start :-).

Cool, it's working! The only thing that I can't get on a google search so far is the "storm ice" hockey or storm ice hockey
