If the Sox traded Robert, do you really think JR is going to spend the $20 millions Aveda next year on other players? He's been tighter than my poop chute in recent years so I have no confidence in that happening. Therefore, as a fan, if the offers aren't good, I'm fine for holding on to him and hope he rebuilds his value.

I thought i was going to be productive the next few months. However, this team is becoming so fun to watch. Its must see TV lately.

Should we resign him? He could fill an outfield spot after the trade deadline for 4 or 5 games til he gets injured.

I don't think this team has that much more talent than last years. The big difference is the manager. Don't get me wrong....I'm not touting Venable for manager of the year. However, he's much better than giant crusty old cat turd we had in the dugout last year. Southpaw, Bozo the Clown, or Beetlejuice from the Howard could have made this team better last year.....however, no change was made until the dumpster fire was extinguished.

We couldn't afford to fall any further behind Detroit in this series and the team accomplished what it needed to do. Lots of baseball left in this season and lots of time to get back in the race!

$400 million builds a minor league stadium. Might be ok for the Sox now but hopefully not in the near future.
