I never thought I'd see a White Sox team worse than some of those in the Bill Veeck era. This team makes those look like world beaters.

I wouldn't have listened to his coaches here either. We need to hire good coaches to demand respect from our players

The problem is that you can only acquire 1 (maybe 2) impact players per year through free agency or trade. This group of youngsters we have is going to need at least 7 or 8 impact players added to it in order to compete for division titles (and maybe more). If we wait til the youngsters are ready, our window will expire before we can obtain the necessary veteran impact players. We need to start acquiring them now so we can be competitive in 4 or 5 years.

Before we worry about next seasons manager, let's see if we can go on a run now to make this year's playoffs! ???

I've been making money betting against them for weeks. I think it ends tonight though. I have a parlay on the Sox and the over. If we can't get to this starter, it may be 2025 before we win again.

We would need a 54 win improvement to go 81-81

With only 27 wins this season, we could go 62-100 and still tie the record. As long as a manager change is done in the offseason, it's likely we do at least this good in 2025.

I'd like to see Grifol fired and AJ put in as temporary manager. Since he's new to that position, let's see what he's got before giving him a long term deal. I wouldn't be expecting much but let's see if he can generate 10 or so wins from this pile of dog doo. Alternatively, give Ozzie a 10 year contract to manage this club so top free agents would want to sign here in the offseason for less than market value.

This could help us out. If Crochet is off the market now, it just drives up the current value for Fedde and Flexen. Plus, we still have the ace to trade in the offseason.

As bad as we are now, just imagine how the final months will be if the anticipated fire sale happens this week. If we get rid of our "best" parts, we may not win another game this season.

The amazing thing is we are this bad before the fire sale. What’s going to happen after the all star break when many of our “best” assets are sent packing.

Tonight’s game is another one I think I could have won as manager if Bozo Grifol wasn’t calling the shots. There’s been at least 10-15 games I could say this about this year and I think Ozzie would win 10-20 games more than me. This team has major holes but could still be contending for a division title in a weak division if it didn’t have the worst manager in the history of baseball. Fire Pedro, Katz,Getz, and Reinsdorf tomorrow. Fans of this team deserve better.

Possibly as good as 45-18. This team plays with zero inspiration and still gets many leads that it blows. Pedro is the worst manager in the history of baseball and is capable of creating a high level of suckitivity for any team.

This team is bad but our level of suckitivity is inflated by Pedro Grifol. I don't claim to be a baseball genius but I know I could have gotten at least 10 more Ws out of this roster than our bonehead manager has (and I think Ozzie could have gotten 20-25 more). So don't blame 100% of our suckitivity on Getz (unless you know he has the authority to fire this bozo)

We have 10 hits thru only 4 innings tonights. I bet we haven't had more than 12-15 games all season where we've had double digits hits in the entire game.
