Seems like he was a big timer in his head and treated everyone like he was the biggest name in the lineup. It's one thing for his coworkers like B&B to say those things but every one of his former interns and producers have said the same.

I get what you are saying but remember how 05 pretty much wrecked that rotation. Outside of Buehrle it seemed like everyone took a turn for the worst and was out of the league within 3 seasons(I know they weren't but they all went downhill). Maybe @ptatc can shed some light on Sale's injury but I was under the impression that it's a management thing until it's time to cut it up.

Mauer was mvp level that year, Pavano and liriano were good and their bullpen was shut down. 03 had that Same shut down pen and their offense was also really good

Both of those teams had great offense and pitching
