  1. I'm sure Theo is fretting about the WAR exchange right now
  2. Well both relievers got their teams to game 7 of the World Series so I would think it was worth it
  3. You weren't privy but you are sure that Theo got played. And the Yankees made two deals for closers who were remarkably similar in return, within a month of each other, the cubs won the World Series but they got played. and no it is not like giving up Robert because the Sox didn't have a World Series capable roster currently playing, so that is a terrible analogy. good talk let me know when you are privy
  4. Yea if the Sox won a title as a result of th at trade I would still be just fine with it.
  5. Yea well if we are gonna crush Chapman for blowing the lead in game 7 then we should acknowledge that Miller actually lost that game
  6. I don't forget that, it happened. He was also a crucial part of getting there and winning it all. he paid a steep price for a World Series. The trophy wasn't guaranteed without him but they got it with him. Saying that Theo could have paid less is 100 percent speculation
  7. Cool. So what would he have to give up for one of the best closers in baseball in August and not be played?
  8. My comment in no way means I advocate trading prospects right now. I am just talking about in respect to Theo's faults and mistakes.
  9. I'm never going to fault Theo for getting Chapman. He was a pretty big part of their final run into the playoffs and up until the World Series he was pretty good. Theo knew Torres was gonna be good and paid the price that was required.

The AT ST rising up was a pretty awesome scene they also did a good job establishing that Mando and baby yoda are officially stuck with each other.
  11. You keep posting it as fact, which you just got called out on. And what the fuck is that last paragraph
  12. Also want to say that argument is worded weird. They are saying that the average time for a second surgery/revision is 4 1/2 years but also saying that because Strasburg is past that time frame he is in the clear. so it isn't necessarily that a most guys blow out their arm in 4 1/2 years and need another UCL, but that there is a window when players need another surgery and once you are past it, you are good. Who knows though. You would think that Tommy Johns were done on everyone at every level all the time if it was that small of a timeframe
  13. Pro tip: when arguing online, larger font always wins. Bolded is just the cherry W on top
  14. If you build it they will come ?
  15. Bills playing pretty fired up going into the half
  16. A win is a win. Offense looked better and the defense was ok enough
  17. He got them playa cliff notes
  18. thank you for reminding me why I left the church
